I'm wondering about Ryu-chan. How famous is he in Japan? I would never assume he's a household name, but I'd think he's pretty well known in the VN community or otaku culture. What does he do all day when he isn't working on writing stuff? Does he do a lot of interviews or stuff for fans? How much money does he earn? Is he really really rich? Or does all the success of Higurashi, Umineko and the rest just leave him with a reasonable appartment somewhere?

He knows Zun and Nasu as well as other well known VN writers.
iirc, Higurashi sold a good million number of copies so I'm sure he's rich and able to do whatever he wants.
