Yeah, cut it. I had a beard for a while and I cut it before I went for an interview and I've been clean shaven ever since. I feel and look much better this way. Plus I have this weird pet peeve where I sleep much better if my cheek is in full contact with the pillow and there's no hair or anything else in the way. I ended up growing a ponytail instead and girls think it's awesome.
