Uh dude... it's not a lifestyle. It's a costuming hobby. That'd be like calling cosplay or building toy trains a lifestyle. Even if YOU fap to it, it's hard to find a doller who does, they do it for a variety of reasons, but at the core it's just a hobby, and I never said it was more than that. The suits get very hot and can only be worn for a few hours at most, nobody really goes around like that except for photoshoots and cons.

There's some male character kigs, but generally females translate better because they're "cute" and its less likely to look too weird. And before, the hobby attracts more males because it allows them to cosplay whoever they want.

i was thinking of using that soft foam you find in chairs/beds/etc to make a mask but had no idea where to start. i came across this youtube video and it gave me a few ideas. it's a "how to make a fury mask using foam" but the ideas are useable and easily doable so i think i'll give it a shot (since the materials are really cheap). i plan on using hanger wire poked into the foam to shape the face into the contours (nose, cheek, chin etc).
