Pausing on one side looks like the game freezes on the other, so if there's no communication the other side can think the game's locked up. Such is the problem with hacked-in netplay.

If that bugs you, most people get the hint pretty fast if you just stand still and do nothing for a little bit.

The counter to Remi's 214c is so trivially easy it's easy to overlook.

Walk backwards. Attack.

That's all there is to it. Figure out the timing and you can smash Remi for free every single time she does it. In the air, its aim is pretty bad so you have to be dashing forward/HJ9ing to get hit by it, so you probably deserved it if it hits you.
