If the companies aren't willing to translate them into English and sell them for a reasonable US price, I won't buy them. What if we bought the games? What if Japanese companies decided to purposefully hold back on translating games to English BECAUSE they knew fans would translate it for free and people would still buy it for RIDICULOUS prices. Unless they take the initiative and officially release the games in English, I'll pass and save my money for more important things.

I've always had the same stance myself. If they're not going to translate it, I'm not going to buy it. If anything the translators should be getting paid by TM since they're the ones opening it up to the Western market and encouraging people to buy the overhyped, overpriced game when otherwise nobody would've even heard of it over here.
