News:
-Swimsuit seasonal sprites for summer, including new seasonal sprites for Mamiya, Irako, Kazagumo, Okinami, Isuzu, Fusou and Yamashiro, and fixed seasonal sprites for Oboro and Akebono, have been implemented, replacing Rainy Season sprites and Shiratsuyu's mobile phone sprite.
-Early Summer lines including 30 new lines have been implemented, replacing Rainy Season lines. Some ships will instead have Midsummer lines implemented early.
-Four new quests have been added: one 1-3 quest that rewards a furniture fairy, one 1-4 quest that rewards an Irako item, one quest that rewards a sextuple torpedo (all one-time quests), and one "Others" quest that rewards a Skilled Personnel.
-The planes in the Iwamoto (Zero M52A/M53) and Iwai (Zero M52C/M62) quest lines, as well as the Zero M62 fighter-bomber, can now all be improved.
-Kazagumo now drops at the boss node of 3-5.
-Quest descriptions now show up in 2 lines, and measures preventing players playing through the Android port from accidentally unlocking their locked ships have been implemented, among other UI/graphical fixes.
-The Android port is now accessible for all players who have entered the lottery and failed to get a spot.
-The Summer 2016 event is slated to start in mid-August. It will be a medium sized event. There will be one more maintenance before the one for the event, during which the maximum ship/equipment slots will be expanded.
-The Mutsuki-class DD that will be implemented this summer will have an early summer seasonal line.

Now, to find the accuracy gains Zara-class gets from using pasta guns, as well as from using nip guns, that's something worth testing, because you can carry the results over to future tests. To do that, it's 1a + 1b + 1c. He's already two-thirds done so he might as well go all the way.

Besides, in any experiment, having a control group is generally something good to have. In this case, the no gun test will have at least this role, if nothing else.

You can also level slow ships but no auxiliaries but can level CLs instead. 5-4 is slower because you have to go all the way but has more exp per node and once you start, you have to stick with it. The FS actually restores morale if you start a sortie with less than 49. There are at least six drum carriers(actually, even more), you can swap them without presets just fine. So you just have to make sure that 4 ships in the middle of the fleet somehow get MVPs evenly, or swap those that drop too low - either using presets, or manually. You can easily do it while reading or watching something else if you have two monitors.

I thought so for a long time but really, it is the only way.
Think about it, one of main reasons why you buy slots is to play comfortably (so that you don't have to scrap ships every second sortie and can train multiple Maruyu or KitaOoi). Same thing can be applied to eq, so that you don't have to go through 50 pages of it, looking for something to scrap every few hours.

I'm currently sitting at 180 slots (~160 heartlocks) and 817 eq which gives me ~70 eq buffer. Akashi upgrades consume too much, you need some spare guns etc.
