I didn't mean relation as in "it's the same artist", I meant it as in "it's a side picture that is part of the set, but not meant to be part of the comic."

So it didn't go from swing sets to rip and tear. The swing set pic was just was added in as an extra by the artist.

The problem is that the cute pic in the example you gave (>>1539174 and >>1539180) can be identified as the picture before PAINPAINPAIN pic. With this alice set, we don't know how the cute pic fits in. (is it a bonus "D'aww" pic at the end? Is it a pic from the start of it that sets the cute tone before going grimdark?)

I was just saying that, by the look of its lack of structure or the fact that it doesn't add to the story, that it's just a little side pic the author thought would be nice to add in with the story, but not particularly pertinent to the story.

That’s how I found myself in the middle of the forest. There was a large yukkuri out here, ravaging the fields, and no one could seem to catch it. Several people have always tried several ways to capture and torture it. I’ve personally always found that it’s easier to attract flies with honey than with vinegar.

And so there I was, facing down a large group surrounding a DosuReimu. Armed only with a jar of honey.

“Mister? Can you take it easy?” One of the little Yukkurisas asked me

“Of course I can.” I tell her.

The other Yukkuri began to gather around the jar. One by one, they take a taste of the honey and exclaim in joy. “Sharing Sharing! Share it easy!” They chanted.

Sharing …? It’s not something you’d ever think a Yukkuri would say, those who look out only for themselves. But then, maybe that’s the secret to the Dosu’s rise to power. The Dosu seems to partake in eating more food than the others, but they don’t seem to mind, so long as everyone gets a portion. Clever I must say.

But, they were soon out. “Yuu! That was tasty!”
“Mishter where can we get more?”

I hold my arms up and shrug “I’m sorry, but I can’t get more while taking it easy. It’s a lot of work.”

The Dosu was not phased “I’ll do it! I’m strong!”

I shook my head. “But I am much stronger than you. Do you think you can get more by yourself?”

“I’ll find more easy!” It puffed up proudly. The others began cheering for it. I agreed to show it how to find more.

It took one swipe at the beehive. Is swayed. Another Swipe. It twists around. A third, and it was on the ground. The Dosu then began to smash it open.

“Whoa! Big Reimu is strooo~ng!”
“Now we can share more easy!”

the Reimu puffed up proudly. Then, the Bees arose behind her.

“More food!” They shouted happily. The Reimu looked confused, and turned around.

“Beeeeeeees~ Yugya!”

The other yukkuri all looked on in confusion as the bees all assaulted their leader. Stringing without care. The Reimu screamed and bawled until finally the Bees gave up, either dying from the assult or leaving, following wherever the queen was going. Once it was safe again, I stepped forward.

“YUGYA!” It shouted, and bounced towards the trees “IIIID HURDSS! ID HUUUUURDS! MAG ID ZTOOP!” It shouted, scratiching it’s wounds violently against the tree bark. Yukkuri can’t scratch themselves if they get itchy, and need to use whatever is nearby to satisfy such urges, and the beestings covering it’s body must be driving it crazy.

Movement on the right.
Instant reaction. Concentration. Muscle contraction. Leap. Buzzing of the wind in ears. Feeling of grass blades lashing on the naked skin of legs. A split-second full of anticipation, impatient excitement, euphoria, feeling of the prey trying to break out of an iron grip. Realization of success. It's horrified cry.

"Let me go easy!"

And there it is. After long hours of hunt, finally, at the long last, it looks at you with resentment, still wriggling around like a limbless worm. It's eyes, unnaturally large, gleaming with calm, neutral, but terrible insanity, it's deformed nose, it's mouth that lacks teeth, that keeps spouting nonsense about letting it go. Oh no, miss Easy, you're not going anywhere. This man has spent too much time trying to find you, trying to catch you, to simply release you now.
You give it a spiteful grin, to which it responds with another plead. Oh, little does it know.
Come to think of it, why have you found yourself hunting for this poor, hideous thing? Oh, that's right. Because of that fateful day, not so long ago, when you first noticed a family of those things dancing in the pale moonlight on a hill near the village. It was then, you realized, that your whole life, your endeavours, training, were all just preparation for this hunt. Because no matter how stupid those things look, catching them was no easy business. Even the experienced youkai hunters that strived to achieve this encountered numerous problems when it came to tracking those creatures.
But here you are, with a perfectly fine, adult specimen of Yukkureimu (named after that nosy shrine maiden) in your grasp. What now? Oh, there's only one thing you can do now. This is the culminating point, the climax of your entire life!
Speaking of climaxing, time to get to it.

"Bad mister, let go ea-- easy?!"

A while later, I asked around about how the Yukkureimu was doing. The farmers have noticed a complete lack of attacks from the group now. I was still curious, though, so I checked back.

I reached the area of the forest where the Beehive was. You could see a part of it covered in beanpaste. Looking at the tree where the Dosu was scratching, you could see a feast’s worth of beanpaste lying there. A heap that would fill a Broke Shrine Maiden full. It only came from three different Yukkuris.

I continued searching for a while, and finally found the DosuReimu herself. After Observing, I saw it was crying. Only Three followers were left. One of each: Reimu, Marisa, and Alice. The Reimu was yelling at the Dosu.

“Why! We want The Sticky Sugar! Get us more Easy.”

The Dosu only continued to sob. It seems all of her living followers have left, on the search for honey on their own. Once you feed a wild Yukkuri Candy, it will never want to go back. The Dosu however knew the importance of eating what you could, and despite promises of sharing the food she could get, the others weren’t satisfied. The Reimu then left.

“If you can’t, I will find the others easy. You stay here and never take it easy again!”

Wow, such harsh words.

The Marisa Yuued softly. It bounced up and licked the dosu’s wounds. Looking carefully, I noticed it was the Strong Marisa from last time. She looked genuinely worried about the Dosu. The Alice Behind her however was looking away. It spoke up

I had to step out. I reached down and picked up the Alice. It Yuued in surprise, and the Dosu and Marisa both looked at me.

“You… give us candy easy! Please!”

The DosuReimu surprised me again. I can tell it’s desperate for all of it’s friends back, and sorrowful that it couldn’t provide the honey. But that’s not what I was here to show them today.

“Marisa, why are you mean to this Alice?”

“Because All Alices are bad! They only want to refresh!”

The Alice was taken aback. “That’s not true! I want to … I want to take it easy with Marisa! I want to have a family that takes with easy together!”

“Alice is bad! Marisa can never love Alice!” It shouted, it’s anger escalating.

“Because Marisa can only love Reimu” I added. The Alice was Shocked. It was clear this was true. It was clear to everyone. “Poor Alice. Staying Pure for someone who can never love you. It makes you sad, right? Like you can never take it easy again?”

“N-N-NHHHHHHHHHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!”

It’s cries turned quickly to that of Ecstasy. Despite it’s previous wants to live peacefully, despite it’s claims to always want Marisa to take it easy, it has now completely forgotten everything.

I place it down, behind the DosuReimu, on top of it, and I pick up the Marisa.

“No! Stop it easy!” The Marisa shouted. “Drop Dead Easy, Alice!”

“Reimu! Yer zo biigg!” The Alice said, humping the weakened and wounds Dosureimu. It began to cry and shout, shuddering from the pain. “Don’d be zundere! Alice with refresh with you alwayzzz!”

The Alice’s Nho’s echoed through the forest several times. She must have been holding back fierce. The Dosu began to grow several sprouts from it’s head. This dreaded the Marisa for several reasons. The first being that Marisa was suppose to bear Reimu’s children, not Reimu baring Alice’s. The Second being that there were too many sprouts. DosuReimu would never recover in this state. She can only stand to lose her paste from here out.

I set the Marisa down gently, and pull the Alice away. The Marisa kept yelling at the Alice, calling it a slut, saying it should never take it easy again. The Alice didn’t seem to care.

“Marisa, yer zooo zundere!” it shouted, and lept onto the Marisa.

The Alice lay behind the Marisa, who was helpless to move. I remembered a Diagram I onec saw before, and decided now was as good of a time as any to see if it’s true. I searched around quickly, and found a Rock large enough to squash the Alice.

I then held it over her so as to keep the Marisa safe, and dropped it from behind.

“Ahh, so it’s true.” I said to myself. The DosuReimu barely had the energy to look over towards the carnage. When she turned her body, she saw a Rock, a Small Flab of Alice, an Over stuffed Marisa, and half of Marisa’s beanpaste shot a good distance away from Marisa’s Mouth. She was gurgling heavily, and we both knew she wouldn’t survive. It is interesting to note that if you squish and Alice during refreshment, her custard will come out into her partner at a very high velocity.

“noo~” the Reimu said tiredly. “All of Reibu’s fwinds are gone.”

“Don’t worry, Reimu! At least you have your children!” I said happily. Taking a closer look however … “Oh, Or maybe not. It Looks like they have yet to even start budding. It might be too much for you to handle anyway.

“Bleaze, helb me…”

“Are you sure you want my help?” I ask her.

“b…bleaze!”

I look down, and ponder for a moment. I walk over to the Yukkuri, and grasp one of the Vines on her head. I then pull sharply, tearing it out from her head. More Beanpaste spilled, and she screamed again. I continued to pull more and more from her head, until finally only one remained. I stepped back to look at the poor thing again. It’s still sobbing, and can barely move. Finally, I notice a single bud on the sprout.

“Oh look! One is growing! But it only looks like you’ll have one child.”

“Yu … is my baby … pretty?”
