So reposting from previous thread, but when I try to load up a DMM game it just loads forever. Do I need to enable/disable some kinda browser setting? I'm just using the KanColle Command Center to get access to the page, and elsewise I'm just using ublock origin and chrome with no bells or whistles.

Anyone else getting a loading forever issue on DMM games? I've been googling for the past couple days and had no luck -- with VPNs, cookies, or anything of the like. As it turns out, none of the other DMM games load either. I just want to play some shitty browser games and fap, /jp/ =(

Internet speed is 30 meg down, 4 meg up. Not great, but certainly good enough.

I have 150 gig or so free on my c drive.

I have tried on a laptop and load just fine, but that laptop is slow as BALLS so it just can't handle it. I haven't lugged my desktop to another place to troubleshoot this though.

I did chat with them but they sent me in circles. Nutaku sent me to Probiller, Probiller sent me to Paypal, and Paypal doesn't answer the message I sent them and still has that technical difficulties message since weeks ago so I don't expect them to answer it.

So a team of Assault rifles is the far and away the best because they can move and attack at the same time while also having the second longest range in game.
-Snipers are powerful but need a turn to setup and because dumb AI they'll waste turns moving if the enemy is out of range
-Shotguns are the tanky class, but aren't tanky enough to survive the assault rifles
-Handguns are the evade class but their evade isn't good enough to keep them alive long enough
-PvP dailies are super hard to win because everyone is mainly going to be running optimal teams

AMRs (Anti-Material Rifles) are the one that need a turn to set up, regular SRs (Sniper Rifles) can fire and move in the same turn.

Basically spam Assault Rifles, and can add 1-2 Snipers for support if you want. There are a few exceptions though. Despite this girl being a Gold AMR, she's honestly more important than a Rainbow AR despite her class being really shitty.

She basically has the strongest Leader Skill in the entire game. If she's Leader, she has a random chance to heal your entire team by 10%. It can proc more than once in a single battle too if my experience (I skip straight to results on battles, but I've seen cases where my units definitely healed by more than 10%) and wiki are to be trusted. Keep in mind this is like KanColle where HP carries over outside of battles, so if girls get hurt, you have to spend time + resources to heal them normally.

Don't underestimate the draw of games that aren't shamelessly money-grubbing too. Both Kancolle and FKG gained user support by having systems that are very supportive of non-paying players, and FKG adds to that by frequently introducing new events, characters and mechanics.

This final map is pretty annoying, the lich lord comes right after Lumaria and I have no real answer to him.

I'm also not getting the point of the event character. You'll use her when there are orcs around, sure, but would that ever be worth raising or awakening her? You can make a point for the other two because demons and dragons are semi-common, and for vampire hunters because undead are everywhere, but I'm just not seeing the point of an anti-orc gimmick.

Something like anti-human would be much more usable, especially since orb dailies throw you nothing but these.

It's kind of a pity, samurai are the token neither-fish-nor-fowl class. They could be decent tanks if they had a little more defense, they could be decent duelists if they were a little more powerful, and they could be decent early blockers if they had a little lower cost.

Because Nutaku is bad at communicating. There are actually two distinct types of "chance up" gachas.

There are character rate up gachas, which run constantly and have a set of characters that you're more likely to get if you hit their rarity. So you still have 6% chance for a gold, but if you do get a gold, it's more likely to be one of the featured characters.

Nutaku apparently also introduced a second type of gacha that increases the base chance to get higher rarities, this is what you should be rolling for. Unfortunately, there's no real way to distinguish these from the other type, beyond personally asking the staff.

- You can do it any time after AW1 (I don't think it resets level)
- There are two different paths to choose from

I had a script blocker fuck up my transactions since I didn't know that nutaku was a probiller partner so, for a while I couldn't buy gold and the billing info doesn't directly tell you of what probiller was or the redirection, they just get you into a chat with probiller and that name didn't tell me anything at the time.

To get to the conclusion, my own mistake had probiller emailing me an alternative by paying directly to them and them forcibly adding credits to my accounts and giving me free month or 2 access to other probiller services and a small discount i.e. 5ish to 10 free dollars worth of gold. The problem is that they want to do large transactions so 100 to 500 dollars and while I was ignorant of probiller, googling that company made me scared of the possibility of being subscribed with tens if not hundreds of pay sites that might resubscribe themselves without my proactive efforts, basically every google search on probiller is people asking who they are and why did they get billed when a 2 day dollar paysite renewed into a full subscription. In retrospect given that I have spent money since then I should've taken the risk.

Nutaku allows you to pull this off twice for the price of one game, once for the original JP run and once for the EN audience. EXP is the same, IIRC. Story maps give more gold, though. Events give guaranteed drops on the first clear (except gold rush maps) so you get plenty of silvers. They fucking -shower- you with crystals between event map 3*s every week, promotional weeks, crystals for teeny tiny maintenance delays, and whatever else.

It's honestly not that bad. In about 3 months of DMM, my account is probably about 80% of what my Nutaku account was after a year and a half, with nearly as many event units due to them just giving old ones out like candy during new events.

It took me about two months to get my first AW unit, as a measure of progress. It was just a gold unit, but still.

They boosted drop rates of dailies, there are 4* challenges for extra SC, there are guaranteed drop on first kill in events, meaning you get good stream of event units and silvers even from low-difficulty maps, and so on.
Starting on DMM is much easier than on Nutaku, and you will catch up in no time.

As mentioned by another anon, atarimesan is great. They use silver units/Cloris/Katie/Bashira and none of them are cost reduced, so strategies are super easy to replicate.

Sennen War is also good, but they use a ton of cost-min silvers in their videos, and until they can nail down a low-rarity strategy, you'll see them posting videos with a bunch of event or trading post units you probably won't have. They have good challenge map videos, though.

SLOWLIFE is a pretty good channel, too, though they tend to be roughly the same as Sennen War in terms of units.

Nasu Games is good, but they pretty much stopped posting anything half a year ago. Use them for older stuff if you need it. They have good videos for stuff like daily maps.

Otherwise I'd hop over to NND for new events and see if anyone posts a random video there that you can use if the others aren't applicable to the units you have.

Is the event title "Bustling Festival Phosphorecia" for you too? Because that's two events after this one, and they might have been testing the story text that will come in around that time.

That event is also interesting in that it doubled as the first character popularity contest, which led to the first three girls (Oncidium, Cactus and Camellia) getting bride versions. It would be neat if we had an EN-exclusive new version for the top-ranking girl at least.

Events are much harder than Nutaku Events. For a few reasons too.
- On Nutaku we're massively overleveled for every single event basically, because we get all these bullshit 2-3 week breaks in between events. But if you go on DMM we might get a single break (the 1.5x Daily + 2x AW Orb) like once every 2-3 months.
- There are a lot more units/classes, but that also means maps are balanced around you having and leveling those extra units and classes. Take for example, the last like 3 Subjugations basically assumed you had 1-2 leveled Priest Warriors and probably a Mage Armor too. If you don't have them? Well fuck you because the difficulty of the map just skyrocketed for you.
- We know ahead of time which Event Units are good because we've seen massive amounts of data on how they perform on very, very hard missions as well as knowing their AW Skills. So even if you skip a unit that later on DMM turns out to get buffed, it would literally be like 5 years before it comes back to bit you in the ass. Whereas on DMM, it could happen at any time if their AW Skill hasn't been revealed yet. Take Rikka for example. She was pretty good, but kind of niche. But then her AW Skill came out and it turned out she could pull out absolutely retarded DPS numbers that perce both Defense and MR, and at ranged. Or for a Premium Gacha example, Nadia who was good. But then it turned out her AW Skill gave her a massive multiplier to both Attack and Defense. And also made her attacks AoE. And was also permanently on. So yea, you can skip events to level up. But then it might randomly turn out that the Event Unit you thought wasn't that good and was safe to sideline to level, becomes ridiculously OP and basically mandatory for most F2P players.
- Also difficulty creep. Even God-Tier maps and Subjugations here can be 3*ed with just 50CC50 Silvers most of the time. Definitely not the case on DMM. You can probably clear and 2*, but generally not 3*. The Subjugation before last for example could be maxed with mostly CCed units if you had AW Skill Rikka and AW Skill Horace, but without them, you''d probably need a team of almost all AW Units.

Tl;dr
Unless you plan to whale immediately out the gate, be prepared to get your anus completely devastated by the first month or two of events. Followed by a period where you do good on them, but probably can't consistently 3* Extreme/God maps until you finally break the hump and git gud.

Yes, the main thing is the permanent thing though. The multiplier barely decreases, but her regular skill can only be kept up about 1/3 of the time normally due to the short duration. I mean, you need a map that lasts at least 70 seconds longer than it takes for you to put her down. But the skill itself is amazing once it's up and most high difficulty maps last long enough for it to be worthwhile.
