Actually I did and believe me I fucking love Forest with all my heart, for Inganock I'm still at the beginning but I'm loving it so far.
But I'm not retarded enough to compare VNs that are in such different genres.
I appreciate Liar-soft style a lot, it really fit their VNs.
I also appreciate Key style, it also fit the mood of their own VNs.

Just off Tsukihime (and KT and MB) and Phantom of Inferno, Type Moon, easily.

Tsukihime's cast is more lovable, the setting is better (doesn't hurt that I love high fantasy settings), etc.

Also, PoI had cases of awkward character writing (mostly Cal; they tried to make her into a genius without making her into a Mary Sue, but they ended up making her know things that she shouldn't know without a bit of training or experience, such as where the enemy sniper would set up, had her not know things that anybody should be able to figure out, such as why a sniper would need to know how the wind was behaving, and had the lead get amazed at some of her average performances), some really corny parts (DRIVING DOWN THE FREEWAY AT 70 MILES PER HOUR AWAKENS MY PRIMAL INSTINCTS), fell to some annoying cliches (stop with the beating around the bush and just explain what happened with the loft; wait, then we wouldn't have a conflict), and based its final story arc around a contradiction to things that they had set up earlier in the story. (Inferno does NOT waste its time and money on mere hired guns that have gone into hiding; this was the whole point behind Reiji fighting at the end of act 1, yet for some reason Inferno wasted a good 2 years worth the time and money on looking for 2 hired guns that wanted nothing more to do with lives of crime)

I enjoyed PoI, but I enjoyed Tsukihime a lot more.

I'm serious here.
Among them only KEY delivers constantly, if you count the translated VNs only of course.
For Type-Moon, Tsukihime was very good but FSN was pretty average.
For Nitroplus, POI was pretty awesome but Chaos;Head was disappointing, not that bad but with lots of wasted potential.
For Key ONE has a lot of charm, Kanon is very enjoyable and Planetarian and Clannad are both pretty amazing.
KEY is far more solid though Nitroplus probably is as well if you count the untranslated VNs like Saya, etc...

I find Nitro+ games to be deeper than TM's ones, the problem is that often are TOO deep.
So in the end I prefer titles like Tsukihime and FSN since their plot is easier to grasp and I don't want to stress my mind too much.
