-- From Watanabe-san's POV, which member has high potential as an idol?
Mayu "Eh.. I wonder who...... Even though I say this myself, but I think once a junior who has higher idol potential than me appears, it might be time for my graduation, but no matter how much I think about it, that kind of juniors isn't really around...... Although I myself persisted to the orthodox idol route, but there isn't really any juniors who are that extreme... that's what i feel."
-- Indeed, there might not be any members with an existence who can rival Watanabe-san's.
Mayu "Of course, there are promising juniors. For members who appeared in "The Idol Stage", HKT's Sakuratan's idol-ness in terms of looks and performance is quite high. If speaking about AKB, draftee Kawamoto Saya-chan for example. Sayaya was in the same team as I previously, but her idol-ness is rather high. In less than a year since her debut, when standing on the same stage as her, I was shocked by her performance ability. Members who recently just entered are performing with shining smiles, so I think they have something in them that will help them become big in the future."
-- Earlier on, you mentioned such a statement "there's no juniors with a higher idol potential than me" that has tremendous weight and persuasive power, but from Watanabe-san's view, what do you think is lacking from the young members?
Mayu "I wonder what......"
-- Because Watanabe-san might think there aren't any members who regulate themselves to be as stoic as yourself, you might be strict in judging members, right?
Mayu "That's right. They might be lacking in stoic-ness. Everyone has their own rules for themselves, but for my case, since middle school, I decided to go down the path of not being swayed by people around me, and to believe in myself, and I've managed to come till today while sticking to that belief."
