"Similar to the American and Irish cultures, the Japanese have taken up trick-or-treating however not house-to-house. Rather, the Japanese have kept trick-or-treating on the low-down. Many hotels, apartment complexes, schools, after school activity centers, libraries and restaurants have taken up handing out candy. My first time to celebrate Halloween I was living with a host family with two smaller children: Mai was 5 and Yusuke was 10 years old. The two were very excited about the Halloween celebrations since they knew that had a Halloween trick-or-treat expert in the household."
