Setting moves to America after Yukari, the Demon Witch, banishes Miko from the gensoko's land.
In the NA desert somewhere, Teen Shia Labeouf finds her all naked and stuff and gets her some clothes while she showers. Shia spaghetti's when she walks out in a towel.
Miko now dresses cheerleader casual for the rest of the movie.
There's driving and lots of talking and explaining jargo terms for minutes on end with the occational ass/cleavage shot. Miko's tragic backstory about father leaving her included.
Part way through, movie exclusive male villain captures Miko and it's up to teen Lebeouf to save the world and get the girl.

Eagles are still the best bird though. Not because of American bullshit, but because Mongolians use them to hunt wolves. Seeing a video of that was crazy, and only makes me more bitter that the Maori drove the Haast's eagle extinct. (From them driving the eagles prey extinct, Maori were more damaging to NZ than British people could ever hope to be).
