You know what? I approve of huge yama. Not just because it's more accurate to how she is in game (even excluding the hat, she's at least as tall as Komachi in PoFV), but also to match how they are portrayed in most fiction. THEY ARE FUCKING HUGE!

I thought she was slightly shorter.

I prefer to think as such anyway; not because I want Shiki to be small, but I envision Komachi as basically being the tallest Touhou with the exclusion of Utsuho's wings.

Agreed. Which is rather ironic since Komachi isn't really particularly threatening, nor has any ill intentions. Although she's acting a bit morbid, but comes with the job, I guess.
Guess from their point of view, shinigami are really just taking care of an ungrateful job. A public service, if you like.
