I agree. There are people who posted things much worse about their fumos and not gotten much of a reaction. This did no permanent damage and did nothing but express a morbid sense of humor.

The fumo general debacle was terrible as well, as he pointed out. /fumo/ vs fumo general. Man, why does it matter what it's called? Granted, not including links in the OP is a legitimate reason to be slightly upset, but calling it a general instead of /fumo/ is nothing to get upset over. It's a thread where people talk about fumos and post pictures of them. You can call it whatever you want, and calling it a general isn't going to change the kind of posts that people post in the thread. Do you think it's NOT a general because you call it /fumo/ instead? What something is called has little bearing on what it actually is.

AmiAmi sells for normal retail cost. It will end up being cheaper than buying from Gift through a proxy. The stores that mark up fumos are those that sell only to foreign buyers (TOM, JList, etc).

The only thing you will miss out on is the special badges that you get from the Gift store. If you only care about getting the soft girl, that won't matter to you.

I think you should read CoLA if you're going to get the kouindou versions. My top favorites are patchy, tewi, kaguya, yuyuko and cirno. I was about to buy a kaguya but with the rerelease of mokou i will wait patiently to see if I can get my soft princess. Nitori was my favorite for 14.5. The only extra stage boss I've defeated is mokou so I can't help but get her. I have Patchy, Kour. Vers. Remi and Reimu, Tewi, and UFO Marisa. I just ordered reisen and mokou. I wish nitori, junko, and medicine would get fumos but I don't see it happening anytime soon....

I started around the same time and have 1ccd 6, 7, and 8 on normal and hard with all characters (but not all shot types). I've also beaten all the extra stages, besides the phantasm in PCB. I've been getting into the fan games as well. I own physical copies of everything, I like to collect them. I have EoSD, PCB, IN, IaMP, and several fan games(actually more than legit canon games). I managed to snag a copy of Rock Maiden and Legend of Twilight recently.

7 fumos, with Mokou on the way. I also plan on getting Yuyuko, but after that I'm done. Most of the other characters I'm just not that fond of and they're pretty expensive. I impulse-bought Tewi when I saw her on AmiAmi and plan on selling her.

I only own one that was pre-owned. A Youmu. Never again. Arrived in a terrible state.

And I mean it. There's tearing of seams here and there which the previous owner has tried to fix... with glue. The hair or at least parts of it seems to have come off too at some point because it's all loose and has been glued to the sides.

The painted details on her dress is chipped and faded.

She came squeezed into a box half her size and even after having tried to get her into her old posture by moving the stuffing around the best I can without opening her up, and using weights to keep her in position for several weeks, it just won't make her right.

And of course, she smelled like tobacco.

I'm going to look up how to get rid of the glue without leaving unseemly smudges behind and try to repaint the dress details one of these days. Dork didn't deserve this.

My Kaguya had some slight fraying on the bottom of her second dress layer. Patchy and Cirno were basically new, even came with tags. Mokou has a slight discoloration on the top of her head, and Yuyuko's hat's band was broken, but I knew about both of those when I bought them.
Also has anyone heard from that one Euro anon who was selling their Youmu and Mokou? They said they'd email me in a few days, but that was several weeks ago.

VLC seems rather bare bones. I am fine with the added bulk if I can favorite songs, easily manage my playlists, and add cover art to the file. I'm sure if I were motivated enough I could make a more resource efficient system to my liking. But that takes time.
