i heard nitro+chiral has another game in the works called sweet pool but with a new artist.
i havent looked into it yet but the art i have seen is lovely.
anima mundi has great plot and cast list. its probably the most fabulous game i ever played.
(i know it sounds like im doing pr for that game but its the last one i played so it stuck :P)

well, i guess it depends on the amount of sparkles you can consume before it makes you want to choke someone.

not much: silver chaos is very entertaining but it mostly revolves around the gay sex and stupid gags so if you are after a good plot it probably will not be your cup of tea. silver chaos 2: artificial mermaid seems to have more plot but it takes much longer to finish every route so i didnt play it much.

medium sparkles: Apocripha/0 is nice. there is no sex in it (i think the alex disc doesnt even have bl) but the gameplay is fun and the characters are adorable. (pic related)

sparkly overload: angels feather revolves around likable characters and has a lot of funny moments too. i actually managed to play through it without getting more than one kiss scene (i suck at these games without a walkthrough) but i really enjoyed it regardless. there are also stupidly cute rpg parts in case you want to pretend you are playing a real game :P

I've only played the Nitro+ CHiRAL ones, but yeah, as long as there's not too much retarded fangirl shit.

There's one or two I've been thinking of playing. I skip through the porn a lot of the time anyway and I'm not mortally offended by gay characters (in fact quite the opposite if they're FABULOUS enough), so if the story's good enough it's not really all that much difference to how I see a straight VN. Sure they'll have a different style to what I normally play but a change is nice sometimes.
