Thank you for the feedback. I checked all of those groups, and listened to a few songs for each and none of them really hooked me. Most if not all of the groups you showed me really suffered from lacking a direct identity, as in I could change the language the songs are in and they couldn't be considered kpop anymore, but rather pop for whatever language it was changed to, seeing as they're all a mix from other industries, completely missing a "Korean" feel.
SNSD, f(x), and Red Velvet felt derived from a mix of American R&B and Pop whilst incorporating a multiple member sceme. The point of having multiple members is being able to use the differing tones and pitches in the many voices, along with using the voices in unison, but when they all sound the same anyways, redundancy builds, and the only reason they keep multiple members is for extra eye candy. Kudos to the person who can tell who's singing what for those groups. Furthermore, multiple members and that type of music don't mix well, which is why large groups like those don't survive in the US. Big Bang and Lovelyz are the only ones that momentarily caught my attention, but only because of their "Japan" feel. Lovelyz's Japan feel is off of the smoother low-key pop it uses, as well as the school girl gimmick they sometimes have. Also, Lovelyz suffers from the multiple voice issue, as all 8 members look and sound the same. Long burnette hair only isn't an easy thing to distiguish. Big Bang tricked me into thinking they were influenced by Japanese hip hop, but it was just American hip hop. In the end, I guess I could see the appeal for kpop. You have the most popular and recognizable genres mixed together, and have plastic people sing and dance "original" songs for our viewing pleasure. It's like a normies dream come true.
It shouldn't take long to deduce why Perfume is superior, from having a distinguishable unique sound to distinguishable looks, it's like they can have cartoon versions of them and you could tell who was who.

I'm not sure if there will be a WT4. WT3 in London wasn't even sold out (about ~30% of tickets unsold) and that was the only date in Europe. People traveled from France, Germany and rest of Europe to get there. Despite that it wasn't full.

IIRC boths venues were full in the US but it took a little while to sell all tickets. NY venue capacity was only 2,200. LA was 3.5K London was 3.5K. And Asia's venues weren't bigger than these either.

These concerts aren't even profitable. I mean the London concert was like ~£25 when you exclude VAT. That's like £60K of income from tickets. If you deduct the travel cost of their team of like 25+ persons, accommodation, logistics, venue fees, other taxes and everything, you don't break even. Even if you add profits on merchandise.

Japan is a fucking nightmare when it comes to tickets. And unless you live there or have someone there to purchase them for you, it's very much unlikely that you will get your hand on any ticket to begin with.

Budokan is no exception (even if it's one of the best venue I agree). I guess the only advantage is that since it's Japan everyone is really small so chances is that even if you are far at least there won't be anyone tall in front of you.

Because it was a b-side. Tokimeki Lights is bland and Imitation World was butchered compared to the original.

I've liked several B-Sides from this era like Ijiwaru na Hello/Koi wa Zenkeishisei/Toumei Ningen but they get worse with each new release and I'd say they were all worse than Level3's b-sides- which were worse than JPN.

JPN was their high water mark even if I dislike Glitter/Laser Meme's remixes and odd track order. It was their best era for singles.

Everything after JPN has declined in quality. That's a fact. Voice is the worst single out of the JPN era but it's better than any a-side from post-Level 3 aside from maybe Cling Cling but even so trying to be better than the worst single of an album isn't something to be praised for.

Sweet Refrain is not a good single.
Tokimeki Lights is a horrible b-side.
Star Train WAS that bad and worse than Kasuka na Kaori.

Because "wubwubwubwub" shit is horribly dated and I just don't find the song catchy. The hook in the chorus isn't enough to make me keep listening to the stale verses.

Sweet Refrain would've been a fine album ender if they hadn't ripped it off of Level3 at the last minute to cash in on the song being a tie-in for a drama.
