Last panel should be something like "...the Reimu who lost everything cried out in the rain like a child", not "Reimu lost everything...etc."

Also, using "not soon after" instead of eventually doesn't make sense. Even dropping the "not" would've been a better choice.

No, but I can tell you what the stuff does. The config file itself is fully in English, so you can just edit that as well.

bottom left: reload defaults. right of that is Save and Open
The Two buttons above open (save?) are Add and Delete. Delete is the greyed out one.
Ignore the checkbox and box below it. One makes them cough up blood instead of beanpaste, the other supposedly did something to voices but I heard nothing
The leftmost dropdown box is yukkuri name, order should be Reimu, Marisa, Alice. Right of that is type, parent or child. Should be in that order. Then there's the X and Y coordinate. Change those to whatever you like and press add. That'll put that yukkuri there when the game starts. There's a limit to the number of yukkuri, so use the delete button to get rid of them later on.

Can we have the Chinese translator go over this page of the Yuyuko comic again? In the bottom left corner, when it says "Yukkuri stop it!", is that Reimu or Marisa talking? I found a Japanese translation where it says "Yukkuri(slowly) let her go!", which implies it's Marisa saying that.

I think it's Reimu saying "yukkuri stop!"
Compare with next pages, at this point Marisa is reduced to growling "yuyuyuyuyuyuyuyuyuyuyuy" like a wild animal, and something as complicated as a two-word order/request is beyond her capacity.

Either the Japanese translator made a mistake, or they meant it as "Yukkuri, let Reimu go [she's not doing anything wrong]"

>>1433627
Well, I don't read Chinese, but the first word is "Yukkuri" in Japanese, and the next two characters are "stop/cease" and "hand". It could very well be Marisa telling human Reimu to let yukkuri Reimu go, depending on the nuances in Chinese. The previous panels show her seeing the parallels between Yuyuko and Reimu, so she might be thinking Reimu(human) is going to kill Reimu(yukkuri).

I thought the Reimu yukkuri is the one saying "Yuyuyuyu" in that panel.

Come to think of it, why doesn't she rage against the Reimu yukkuri, after being repeatedly raped by one in Yuyuko's place?

17. A family of Yukkureimus is living in an abandoned house. They have a lot of food stored there, and take it easy every day. One day, an old man came in and started (IIRC) vacuum cleaning. The babies were horrified by the noise. When he stopped, they all told him to get out. He ignored them and sat on the big one. He took an apple from their storage and started eating it. The small ones shout "That's our food, mister!!! Put it down easy!!! Go away easy!!!" He ignores them, throws the apple away and gets out some gum. They change their minds, and tell him "Since you ate our food, give us some of that!!!" (The big one was moaning all along, but they stopped paying attention in fromt of the food.) He finally pays attention, and tells them to stand in a line. He then takes the gum from his mouth, and stretches it over their hair. They futilely try to lick it off each other. He then lights a cigarette, and blows the smoke on them. "*cough* That stinks, mister!!! Go away easy!!!" They finally notice the big one moaning, and try to approach him, but he farts. They go into a corner to escape the smell, but they keep shouting at him. Needless to say, the big one was horrified. He then stands up and tells them they can take it easy together. He starts jumping around, chasing the small yukkuris, almost stopming them several times. When they're too exhausted to run, he leaves, saying "We're good friends now, let's take it easy again tomorrow!" Needless to say, the whole family moved out while crying the same day.

Yukkuris are fascinating creatures that suddenly appeared in the land of Gensokyo. They were always loved by the villagers because of their cute appearance. Eventually, keeping Yukkuris as pets became a trend. There was a time where Yukkuris can be seen all over the place.

Big Yukkuri: "This is Yukkuri's home!"

During the large growth in the Yukkuri population, the villagers started to dislike the Yukkuri's wild behavior and fast reproduction ability. Sometimes, entire families will be abandoned after being pets for a short period of time, simply because the owner can't stand them. These Yukkuris are either killed for stealing food, or have returned to the forest.

After returning to the forest, these abandoned Yukkuris caused the Yukkuris in the forest to over populate. The Yukkuri's amazingly large appetite caused the food supply in the forest to collapse. Plants, fruits, insects, or even smaller monsters because victims to them. Other animals were also in danger because of the food shortage.

Eventually, there was enough of them to chase away other animals. A lot of the nests of the animals were raided. There were even rumors that small animals were eaten by Yukkuris.

Once the forest can't handle the Yukkuri's, the next victims became the farmers who live far away from society. Lots of the farm houses were raided with the crops destroyed and the food supply cleaned out. A lot of the older farmers, who are too old to deal with the horde of Yukkuris, can only sit and watch as their fortune disappear.

To the Wild Word Editor Anon: If more of the Yukkureimu comic pops up, I'd like to continue editing it but it'll be strange if we both edit the same thing twice over. I'm working on making the font I chose look less awful (especially since I had auto-hinting on the whole time) and I'm gonna cut down on the multiple fonts I use for SFX, but I'm still curious if you plan to continue editing the Yukkureimu comic.

Left speech bubble: "You are paranoid..."
Right speech bubble: "Not a big problem..."

When help was asked from the shrine maiden, she always said that is doesn't matter. There are rumors that the shrine maiden have Yukkuri as pets and are secretly protecting them.

After being asked by the villagers, I went to ask Eirin Doctor for help in increasing the efficiency in catching Yukkuris. I was surprised she quickly agreed to help me and also lend me a lot of rabbit assistants. Maybe this doctor is an easy person to deal with.

Top left speech bubble: I cant Yukkuri~
Bottom left speech bubble: Give me~
Bottom right speech bubble: Let Yukkuri Out!

Eirin's assistant is very skilled, and with my traps we captured almost 70% of the Yukkuris in the forest in less then a day (some were accidentally killed). As promised, half were given to the doctor as experiment materials, while I can have fun with the rest in anyway I want.

note: like always, I didn't translate all the Japanese text because most are self explanatory. I also left the word Yukkuri alone in the speech bubbles since sometimes it can mean two things at the same time.

' 給我 ' literally means 'Give me', but it is not a grammatically correct or formal way of saying it. Usually, you need to add a noun before using it.

for example, if you say ' 把蛋糕給我 ' it means 'Give me the cake' where ' 蛋糕 ' means 'cake'.

its kinda like how kids go "mine mine mine" when trying to grab something from you. if you want to make it sound better in English, you can change it to something like "Mine~" or something that means that she claims ownership over the bag of yukkuri.

I can't help you from that, I'm afraid.

Anyway, moar spoilers:

Weapons:
It currently has 3 weapons: punch/kick, metal bat and jump rope.
The game usually start with punch/kick selected. You can only perform kick while standing, and punch while crouching. Both can knock your targets; best used when the yukkuri is jumping high (usually in order to turn around) Big yukkuris can take 17 kicks; upon the 18th time they will start couching up filling, the 20th time they will cough up twice, then deflate and die.
While the metal bat doesn't knock yukkuris away (due to the swing down action), they deal more damage, but you can also manage to hit dying yukkuris (coughing up filling) multiple times before automatically deflating.
The jump rope is used as an improvised whip. It cannot knock yukkuris off and is believed to be less damaging than punch/kick.

>> No.1437448

FUCK, even in my nightmares, yukkuris!

I fell asleep earlier, and I dreamed I was reading a yukkuri comic about three Reimus pinned under some enemy BB gun fire. The two reimus and a slightly lager one were separated from distant covers (just a couple of yards from each other) The larger Reimu went at the edge of her cover and orders the other two to keep down, but two BBs ricochet at the larger Reimu's cover, grazing and slightly wounding it. The other two were distressed, but the larger Reimu comforts them and tells them that she'll be coming over their place. And then the larger Reimu started rolling by "cartwheeling" (rolling on its sides) across the open towards the other two. Upon arriving towards the other two yukkuri's spot, one of them takes a peek out from the other side of their cover, while the other was overjoyed that they are now together. But the last yukkuri has yet to discover that the larger yukkuri and her other companion was already dead; The larger yukkuri got shot halfway over the open area during cartwheeling (but still had the momentum to arrive at its destination), and the other one got shot when it peeked out. The comic panel ends with the last surviving yukkuri still oblivious to what has actually happened to her friends, while at the background an anonymous gunner is aiming his BB rifle to the remaining yukkuri.

Lets assume Reimu believes Remirya isn't a bad yukkuri.
Why would she give it food? Yukkuri aren't exactly known for their hospitality.
If remirya threatened Reimu, why would she give it food? Why not run away? The remirya doesn't seem to be breathing down their neck (so to speak) while they're gathering the food, giving a chance to escape. Hell, Marisa managed to escape without the remirya doing anything.
And if Reimu didn't believe remirya, why wouldn't she just run away out of fear of being eaten?

This just sounds like yet another beyond terrible set up to me.
