Okay /jp/, I just memorized 2042 Kanji in Heisig's "Remembering the Kanji". I'll be damned if there's one of the 2042 that I can't write.

Only I picked RTK2 and what. the. fuck. How the hell am I supposed to use this book to learn how to pronounce these damn Kanji?

Pictured is one of the frames from this book. This frame tells me nothing, how do I use this to learn how to pronounce these kanji?

Oh that reminds me of one of my favorite parts of Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni Kai.
Where Dr. Hufumi wrote 一二三 and Miyo wrote 三四 in response.
Hohoho 123 and 34.

sage because I went off on a completely random tangent.

Well right, but as far as I know, those aren't the right pronunciations. I thought these two were に and さん respectively.

Isn't this contradictory to like the first day of Japanese 101?
一:いち
二:に
三:さん
四:し/よん
五:ご
and so on???

Not trying to troll, I'm just starting Heisig and sometimes it seems like he's just trying to troll Japanese learners everywhere...

i wouldn't use Heisig's second volume OP. I'm pretty sure this is a troll but you should actually start learning Japanese now instead.
