This event is insane. 7m daily for top 300, everyone farming like crazy. Swords drop from LAW like candys, UST too.

And this will last 30 days, if this keep up I will have salvo card or two in every dark EH team..

Really depends on your situation. If you feel like you have nothing else to use those shoes on, sure go ahead. If you are in need of your shoes for other aspects of the game I'm not sure it's worth it. Just remember that you have an entire month to get the LAW. On top of that the evolution accident isn't very good if you don't have other good cards to combine it with. Where the regular GUR is pretty decent if you have no teambuffers, but if you have Huang Long or Elemental Queen, she is basically useless.
I personally have tons of shoes, so I just use a couple whenever I feel like it, but if you are running low on shoes and using them for a lot of things I wouldn't recommend it.

Unfortunately for you, single target buffers are outdated and almost useless now. Same goes for critters and HSR cards.
Most people run 2 or 3 single target unleashers with 1 or 2 skill blockers and 1 team buffer. There are some other viable teams, but this is considered the cookiecutter team. An example can be seen here >>14182615

I'm looking for help on forming better AW teams despite being a noob and having shitty cards, anyways, here's my cards that I think are usable at all, how would you guys use them for at least better damage to FAW and more consistent lvl 200 AW 1 BP kills

UR charybdis (300% dmg to 1 enemy, high suck in)
HSR soul conductor (3 turn skip 2 use)
HSR captain bianca (ability null)
HSR dark alice (aoe dmg)
HSR pirate's gun (crit)

SR engineer (200% aoe attack buff)

This one is more useful for actually killing than doing overkill since it will deal damage to all enemies. I'm actually not even sure all 3 hits goes to one target if no other targets are alive.

I have that skill both on mochi and ata and no most times you will end up hiting FAW and wasting 1m overkill on servants.

With salvo its best to tap servants for 1m and then finish faw. Also this current card dont need mono color team.

Following that there is a 50% chance to hit the remaining servant for another 5m overkill totaling at 15m overkill damage. So I standby what I said, I don't think it's better. Use that skill in over 200+ faw fights and see that %. Seriously tried that and it should work that way. It didnt with wierd RNG in this game. Most times salvo goes straight to faw. tap overkills and 5m into faw neated more points in long run.

Just get your Ata and try it.

Unless this skill on new card works as in 3 hits distributed among ALL enemies, then its very poor and inferior. Need someone with that card to confirm.

I do have my Atalanta, but hardly any dark GUR cards and even fewer dark buffers. I doubt that they would "rig" it so that you hit FAW more often, but I mean, the AoE salve is going to be more consistent no matter what.

Oh yea, that is true. Doesn't really change the fact that Atalanta wont do much for you until you have a dark team to put her in, which needs to be all dark units.
Where with Jeanne you can have a unit with 3 non-light units. Since only your primary attacking unit needs to be light. It makes it slightly less convenient, but she is still pretty good if you are in need of buffers, you just need a primary that is light.

Let's say you bring the FAW to a one-hit kill and have two unleashers ready to proc your Atalanta/Mochi. You have 66% chance to kill a servant with your first salvo, 50% chance to kill the second servant with the salvo and 50% to kill the AW. If you kill one servant and then the AW, you already deal more damage then with the new card.

So statistically you should sometimes get less points, but most of the time get more points and statistically the more points are higher then the point loss. So the team is more unreliable, but it should statistically give you more points if you play your deck and procs right.

I`m at over 80m rank points this event plus top 11 last event with mochi, made thru enough faws to see that on paper it should give you more.

Also you are forgeting important stuff unleashers can proc your buffers instead of mochi and often you will end up with one salvo at servant and no into FAW.

You can get space by completing the first regular campaign map. The other way is purchasing the inventory space found in the shop. They cost some jewels, but it's well worth it and you can get the jewels from login bonuses fairly quickly. You can get up to 300 card space and 20 pages in your collection. That said, you probably only want to keep the very best of R cards since you will soon be stocking up on URs and SRs.

8-6 will unlock your second kingdom. When do you need to do it? That's completely up to you, when you feel like you have the vit to spare and you need to extra buildings and space. You get some extra resource production buildings, so I recommend not waiting too long, but it's not something you should rush either if you are in need of event cards.

You might be able to see it if you click on one of the areas in the campaign and press on the area reward button. You would need to find the right area though. Alright thanks then, I checked the wiki and it only said 8-6 was the 2nd kingdom and 10-6 just increases your card cap by 15. I'll look into the expansion part since I'm at that point in the game where buildings take 1+ day to complete and my resources are capping every 4-6 hours.

I am, but not everyone has amazing luck. I have 50~ encounters with the LAW myself, not counting other alliance members. That only just got me to 4 copies. Finally got a UR. Rest of team is shit. Now I'm able to kill level 100 AW's (that soul conductor bitch). Wat do now. Keep running event as much as possible? Or should I upgrade this person's stats through those magical card thingfs?

You can upgrade the cards skill to max. I wouldn't upgrade it with arcana though.
Just keep running the event map, if you are in an alliance you should get LAW spawns. Poke these and hope for a drop. If you aren't in an alliance I recommend getting into one as fast as possible.
Once you have completed area 5-4 of the event map, you should run area 1-1 as much as you can.

Players are sending less and less due to the existence of FAWs and now LAWs and I would hate to tell a player their only option is send and pray. I would rather teach them to work within their constraints.

Is upgrading an R card worthwhile when you can play an SR or higher with the same or better skill? Absolutely not, you are correct. Is upgrading an R card a bad idea? I would say no. The right R card played in the right team can help a new player kill ordinary Archwitches alone. Killing Archwitches alone is an important step in getting more FAWs and better rewards from them (because of course poking your own FAW gives you two treasures instead of poking your friend's). With the advent of EH you may also be using those upgraded R cards later.

It's the same message I've been saying for months and unless there's a massive change in regular Archwitch mechanics I'll likely say it forever

Well, maybe you just have bad luck or are biased in observing failures more then successes. Sure, I'm not ranking this event, but from my experience I get a kill on a servant most of the time with salvo and then on the faw. Rarely the second servent. And even if I kill the servent first and then have to tap the faw, I still deal 999.999k damage on the last tap, with two dead servants, meaning I either do the minimal 6.5 million damage with no salvo, 11.5 mil with a salvo on one servant and 15.5 mil on servant and archwitch if I fail to kill the second servant.

Atleast, that is from my own experience. Maybe you're just unlucky and I'm lucky, who knows how skewed the RNG works in this game.

You can max it. A maxed SR critter is still very powerful and should be able to get you lvl 200 SR kills reliably if you pair it with a buffer and/or turn skips. That being said, she is only UR at the moment. If you ever get a second copy (hahahahaha) most of the arcana's will be lost and she will be replaced "quickly" by event URs. But having a maxed UR critter will make the coming grind much easier to get to your better team.

I can assure you I woulndt use inferior tactics in FAWK yielding less RP per BP.
With salvo on end I get solid 75k every-time, with shooting at servants it went from 50 to 85, not much gain for randomness. Also overkill damage has diminishing returns. 75k per kill is damn solid and close to 100k from LAW you get.

Also you forget about proc and team build your pure maths dont translate to game.

PS. Time for top 50 rush. I want this extra PS.

Mostly event URs, well now you can get "OKis" team buffer in form of Jean. Yeah she isnt super buffer (def/att) but GUR sc/def/att is something to be reckon with.

As for unleash/block mostly from event FAWs.

Sadly you missed two good cards Summer Oracle (skill block) and Hyper Alchemist (unleash) now with Jean free players can make decent mono color FAWK.

The disadvantage of non-GUR buffers is fairly obvious, they have lower soldier count and lower max stats. Which means you will be weaker against long battles and FAW AoE or servant nukes. It will still work just fine, it's just slightly weaker. Since Atalanta is limited proc you want to save the procs you have until you get max damage with it at the very least. Most people probably want to wait until the FAW is on low health so you can get max overkill.

Yeah when I was starting out I worried about elemental strategy and how many Ns to keep as well. Once you get a steady alliance that will kill all your AW/FAW for you, you will be raining in Rs and will start thinking in terms of the occasional SR you get. Then you realise the main strategy to this game is unleashers because they can make your cards over-proc. Once you've tasted e.g. "300% atk buff to self" proc'ing 3 times and hitting everything for 999999, non-unleasher strategies feel so slow.

It's most likely a combination of both. Advanced EH was made for the most experienced players. So you need a ton of URs and you need to use your cards in a good way to be able to do it. My best advice is reading the guide in the OP. Just remember that there are plenty of people over lv. 130 that can't do advanced EH.

(at least I have soul conductors coming out my ass for easy medals)

With a team of 2 unleashers, 2 blockers and 1 atk/def buffer (all maxed) it isn't that hard.
It still depends on luck, for example, the unleashers keep procing on Huang Long instead of the skill nullifiers or the LAW kills one of your cards when nothing procs in the first turn.
The best thing that could happen is having your cards awoken burst at different times for max damage, also, the later they AB, the better (because they restore some soldiers).

A lot of the info in the beginners guide is outdated, but most of it is still useful. I heard there might be a beginners guide on the wiki somewhere I recommend looking it up. I don't know how good this guide is, but it will at the very least be up to date.
For starters make sure to fill your comrade list with high levels and get in to an alliance. This is probably the most important things.

In a previous thread there were some people who had issues with changing time on your device and picking up the free vit at 22:00. I think I figured out what went wrong for you. You can NOT just change the time of your device, you need to change the timezone. The game will not give you the shoe mark if you just change the time instead of changing timezones. Hope this helps.

Only way to get cards is to play enough. The average for me when maxing hearts on a FAW is 100 kills. I usually have to kill 200~ to get a drop as well. Most of the time I get mine through amalgation or through the top 3000 rank reward. You can play for 2 years and not get anything good, it's all about min-maxing the time you spend and playing enough.

Have been farming hard since the beginning of the event. Killed 700 Conductors and got 25~30 cards. Jeannes were quite kind to me as well 75+assists, 8d in th end.
Since Jewbee were wise enough not to add a damn FAW area I was of course forced to get FAWs via AWs. "Okaaay" - I thought. Now what? 400 pairs of Eyes and no drop. Prev. event I was having the very same problem. 500 Jpop chicks and no drop untill 580~ or so.
Am I just a victim of incredibly twisted Lady Luck or it's some sort of bug?

As for summons in general.

If you have low cash, probing for 300 when flip summon (shows 6 cards you get one random and see 5 next which can be grabed for 1100) is best.

The thing about it is that the combination is amazing. EH requires a ton of BP, but almost no vit. Where finding LAW costs a ton of vit, but no BP. It basically just accelerates the ranking points. EH Advanced rank is still strong especially if you manage to pull 1-2 salvo teams in your rooster. Then again 80-100k LAW kills with active alliance can easy net you 3-4m points per day, if you have time to camp or alliance plays in your timezone.

Next event without EH, will feel wierd managed to top 100 before A EH and now in top 50 thanks to EH points but still people with salvo units (50k rank vs 36k on FAW) and active alliances (LAW SPAM) will have upper hand in ranking.

Wonder why nuubie removed EH for next event. Then again 150-300k with salvo team in EH was ... crazy.

I have a weird feeling that SR drop rates are actually quite decent this time. It's the first day and I've already got 1 Bobbin' Apple, 1 Nightmare, 4 Parentalia (likeability included), 1 Candy and 1 Moloch. Not to mention surprisingly fast likeability boosting. Last event I struggled to fill half a heart in one day (FAW). Now I filled 2.25 Moloch hearts without even trying.

Not that I'm complaining, enjoying the event so far.

That's mostly true, getting Halloween Hades might be much but it's not out of your league. You'll get a lot of vit by leveling which is done by leveling up your town. If you exploit that along with your 24 hour free vit anything's possible.

Jeanne will require a good alliance and luck but Moloch is still possible. If you want Amaymon or Calamity specifically then maybe rerolling is for you.

she is an end game card.

The only cards better than her are 200% attack AND defense buffer (there are only 2, Huang Long and Elemental Queen which are event cards long gone) or a 400% AOE buffer which are cash only cards.

You got pretty lucky. You'll need 5 more for a 6 card evolve GSR or 4 more for a 5 card evolve GSR but a 0 star SR will be useful for months.

You're likely to get the AW card from this event and you ought to be (assuming you've spent jewels on infrastructure) semi-regularly getting SRs from next event onwards.

AWs can drop 30~ per kill. This is the best method imo. Just farm a lot of AWs. I'm at 145 AW kills and 81 FAW kills and I have 1100~ cookies. WGs give almost nothing, I have done every WG I encountered and got a grand total of 5 cookies from it (This is around 10 WGs). Area rewards and PP is something you will get while farming AW and LAW anyway. So just do your regular 1-1 AW farm until special area spawns, then do that to burn some vit. This will give you a good amount of PP and tons of cookies from AW drops.

The SR cards is worrisome but R cards are only useful in the beginning so you don't need to worry.

From now on get both cards to max level and use Arcana Succession before evolving them for any card you plan to keep. If the card is 4 star get 6 if you can. The difference between 5 and 6 card evolution can be as much as 500 troops difference.

If you don't think you'll earn 4,000 cookies before the end of the event for GUR Halloween Hades or even 2000 for UR get Loveberry. She's 1000 cookies and even if you only get 1 in the whole event she'll do you better than the other cards (Nightmare is identical for 1250 cookies. FINALLY we will no longer have to click several hundred times to max our GURs, now we can use 10 arcana at once. Still have to click a lot, but it's 10 times better than before, literally.

Is there any spot left in /jp/ horizon?

I wasn't able to defeat FAWs when Elemental Queen and Lapraz were around, and my wasteland of an alliance cannot compensate my lack of firepower.
I feel like i'm hitting a wall.
