Really depends. Mutsuki and Kisaragi have three drums each. Other Mutsukis have two drums and 10cm HA to make sparkling easier. Uzuki has no eq normally because she needs multiple guns for sparkling. Prinz almost always keeps her SKC x2, FuMO, Ar196 but other CAs only keep their eq if I have no plans of using someone else who can equip mid guns. I usually have some of the BBs equipped but it changed which ones. Carriers almost always get stripped down.

Well I'm not really deterred by it since I was already considering the possibilities from all the anons complaining about duplicates.

Having it happen still sucks though. I planned for to use a dupe for shiplock purposes but her kai is all the way at 60 so she won't be as strong as she can be.(Level 1 Yamato go!)

I actually got Yamato while crafting for Bismarck so yup.

Well I was just considering Shioi since there are some situations where having 6 combat submarine is nice as well as the idea of completing LSC.

Also it's fine. I'm not going overboard and bankrupting myself. I keep at least 10k resource to continue sortie operations.
I also cleared the last event on Hard so I have pretty much most of 'the ships' already.
Well those two things aren't really related but yes.

It hit me only recently. I'm afraid of sortieing them to 4-5 because of repair cost. Previously I was sure I would use them on 5-5 but with plane exp even 1CA2FBB3CV is fine without supports. If I had known the event was going to be extended earlier I probably would have her right now. I cleared E-3 on easy because I started the event late into it and I wanted to rush E-6 Medium and E-7 for catapault and Teru. Yes but having Choukai doesn't really change the game much for you.

Getting a Kuso class makes securing AS much easier while still being powerful.
Tone/Chikuma make 2-5 much easier and also generally make a lot of things easier since they're better than the other CAV's by such a large margin.
Bismarck and Abukuma should be obvious.

Choukai is probably tied in BP priority with the pasta BB's, although OTTO's are quite nice so maybe not, and then Unryuu is also maybe tied but also maybe higher priority depending on what you want to do with the SCAMP (reppuu 601 is nice too)

So all in all it's not that Choukai Kai Ni is bad, it's that everything else you can use blueprints on are so good.

Nope, Abukuma is more useful thanks to her versatility. She can switch between expedition daihatsu mule, full torpedo for strong pre-emptive torp + cut-ins and balanced CLT setup.
