A few years a go I would have said 'eh? nothing special, I get called by my name a lot' and it would be true - these days its a bit different, I hardly ever use my own name - its usually only family I talk to in RL, andnames rarely get used - I play morpgs a lot and chat incessently on ventrillo, but we all use our characters names - heck I was signing a birthday card for my granny last week and started writing my chars name lol. So if someone was to call me by name it would be strange - very strange feeling. I always thought it silly that someone could forget their own name - now I'm not so sure.

When I grew up my parents stopped calling my by my name when I was six or seven. The few friends I have almost always called me "you", and the teachers followed suit. Nowadays I jump whenever somebody calls me by name, since I don't really feel like I have a name anymore.

I guess I'm just a part of the background noise now. ;_;
