Hey /jp/, I have a question for you.

What do you like better, the music of touhou or the characters?

Personally I like the music more, something about the character themes resonate more with me than the characters themselves.

I love the character interactions and lore but the music is so good to me that I have to restrict myself from listening to the game music. Otherwise I would busrt into a matter of pure happiness from how well the instruments used interact within me.

I like the bullet patterns and colors more than anything. That's what makes it stand out vs other STG with humanoid characters.

I hate pretty much every song that heavily uses those trumpets and most other ones aren't that memorable to me. Really, it's only UFO's music and PCB's music that doesn't heavily use trumpets that stands out to me. I don't remember basically anything from EoSD, nor any later games except like one IN track. I haven't played like the last 3 games (counting Impossible Spell Card)so I need to see the music in those.

I like some of the older CD music. I should get the rest of his CD only stuff.
