It's a timelapse that covers December 12th 2014 to March 22nd 2015, when the last of the snow left over from the winter melted.
Unfortunately, the video skips at a few points due to some problems with the stream as well as with my own internet.
I was thinking about adding music to it but I couldn't think of anything fitting that would have been long enough.

With mpv you can just pause it for a few seconds and it will continue to download the stream during the pause. With mpc-hc it closes the stream whenever it lags so mpc isn't a very good player for streams. I'm not sure if you can pause the stream to let it download in vlc.

I do, in fact, live in a Scandinavian country. I don't mind having to go outside in the snow.
The one thing I don't like though, is during the end of winter. There's just grey, slushy snow everywhere. Not to mention the horrendous ice that usually forms. The roads are strewn with gravel to counter it.
Other than that, I stand by my statement. But I see where you're coming from.

Not too hard at all
I went to Tokyo, Osaka, Hiroshima and Kyoto. It was fairly easy to communicate, most of the train staff know some japanese or at the very least yes, no and 1-10
Within shopping centres I didn't really need to speak just plopped my stuff on the counter they scanned it and the machine said it was so many yen
