Next week is the last show though.

And I'm currently re-watching the anime Samurai Champloo.

I couldn't get past the first episode of the Death Note adaption. Akagi was a better adaption but very slow.

Only show I'm watching at the moment is Koinaka it's decent but very predictable.

I could never get into k-drama even through I have tried many different shows. Their romance stories especially didn't interest me much. I just finished Marumo no Okite and it was very good.

I don't remember who suggested it to me but if it was an anon from a previous drama thread thanks for the wonderful experience.

Another great drama with similar feelings and a common actor (Mana-chan) is Ashita, Mama ga Inai.

I can't think of anything good involving otakus but you can try blue blazes which is an interesting take on being in a class for animators back in the day.

There is also a lot of other shows you should watch though if those are the only ones you have seen. Let me recommend some of my favourites.

Comedy - School
Samurai Highschool - It's silly fun nothing amazing
My Boss My Hero - As above
Gomen ne Seishun! - Definetely watch this

Mystery
Liar Game - First few episodes are a bit slow but it's great fun once it gets going.
Kaiji Movies - I think these are great definitely try these and watch the anime.

If you want more shows like above there are some others but they aren't as good.

Kurosagi
Bloody Monday (Season 1 atleast)

Action:
Rurouni Kenshin Movies - These are absolutely amazing, definitely watch them if you haven't already.

I can't think of much else that stands out, other people are free to recommend me shows based on the list above.

So, I want to talk about something.
I am a big fan of great music in films and series.
And I happen to like Jdrama a lot too.

Now, the past few dramas I had seen were pretty good but they were always lacking something. I finally realized its the music and that good music could make certain scenes even more dominant/emotional or heartbraking.

Good Music is what makes a masterpiece movie, I decided that for me long time ago.
Thats why Blade Runner or braveheart remain on the top of my favourite movies, just to name an example. And not alone because of the great story or acting but because the musical score is incredibly good.

Now, I've seen quite a few dramas.
- 1 Litre of tears
- Taiyou no uta
- Densha Otoko
- The Mana-Dramas: >>13962111
- And a hell of a lot more...

BUT none of them came close to 'Orange Days' so far. Not in the original viewing experience and certainly not a few years after when you remember them...

Hearing those tracks now makes me remember all of the scenes, everything - I am in the experience again! Something I cannot say about other dramas that I have mostly forgotten about.

Just listen to that: Its not even only 1 track, the enitre score is great:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NDUk4rm1OQY

Please, recommend me 1 or 2 dramas that share an impact worthy Soundtrack. I was unable to find something matchins Orange days yet. And its not nearly as great as one of the biggest movies out there...

Yeah yeah... lower budget and shit I understand. Still...

I think its quite underrated or unkown rather, for what it is. Wether you like romance, family, slice of life, crime - this one has it all.
Not only that the story is superb, the acting is fantasitc aswell. The male mainrole you might know from 'Orange Days' already (Since this drama got mentioned quite often here)
And the female Main is an instant favourite.

The "seed back or get banned policy" makes sense. The problem is the points obtained from seeding torrents forever is too low. I downloaded one torrent that was about 5 GB and have been seeding it for weeks but I still can't break even. At this rate I'm going to have to download only one or two torrents a year. They should increase the points you earn from seeding and make it on a per-torrent basis so more people seed more torrents.

Before anyone says this I don't want to download torrents I don't want just because they are freeleech to get upload credit.

Of course a torrent system with equal seeding and leeching makes great sense in such a small community.

Since way back from the popularization of torrents I had been against it and avoided using it.

I am through with the first 5 episodes. Its really well made and thoroughly interesting. The amount of information carried within so far is incredible. It diddn't feel like it had any fillers either.

Considering, by the length of this series, I have barley made it passed the into yet is unbelievable. It certainly is not your average family feel good drama either...

This is almost, not quite, but almost movie-tier quality. I guess the information and length makes up for it though.

I can see why it is popular.
