-Summer 2015 event, based on the Solomon Islands campaign, will be the largest event so far, with seven maps announced. It starts on August 10th.
-At least five girls, including Teruzuki, will be added during the event.
-Agano-class received boosts to firepower and luck, Bep to armor
-More girls received new summer sprites/lines and new summer furniture has been added.
-Kaga theme added to jukebox and X-4 boss nodes
-Type 32 Surface Radar and its kai version are available for upgrade at Akashi's Arsenal.

On Pastas, they should be a bit better. Obviously in firepower but also in accuracy. The only problem is the fact Pasta guns are only usable on Pastas while 41cm is obviously best choice for Big7 but also good on lighter BBs who might use 41cm instead of 35.6cm in single fleet. That means, 41cm have much higher priority when it comes to Akashi upgrades and upgraded 41cm will be better than untouched Pasta guns even on Roma and Italia.

I deliberately ignored Isuzu getting in-built AAFD because for all we know, she wasn't boosted at all. The only redeeming factor for her would be AACI stronger than Akizuki's or Maya's but that is very unlikely. The best AA eq she can use gave her the AACI even before the update - Akizuki guns + FuMO, making her boost irrelevant until she gets tested properly.

Hmm. From what I understood so far, it should be impossible. However, even if you're right, the chances are AACI you experienced was weak. Look at Maya and Akizuki, they have multiple APIs, with the most AA focused setups resulting in most planes shot down. Game time really should be measured in hours and not months. I've been playing for almost two years but I don't even bother to do dailies half the time so my fleet's pretty anemic. (The real key to getting your fleet places, though, is to have an actual expedition and grinding routine; if you just play on and off you're already on the back foot)

There's part of it. I work, and occasionally like to get out of the house and be active and exist, despite having no friends to hang out with in the past year and change.
At best I spend about 6 hrs on per day, and most of that is distracted by other tabs while waiting for expeditions to return lately. Prior to that I had trouble crafting anything about a CL for a long time and took longer than I feel I should have to clear world 1. Then I got stuck on 2-3 cause all I had were DDs and CLs, so I had to make them strong enough to squek by. Since I've started getting BBs and CVLs things have improved considerably.
I got the 4th fleet about 2 weeks ago, and have seen a vast improvement in completing my daily and weekly expeditions, which used to take more time than I had in a day.
I now have 4BBVs, 5FBBs, 6CVs, 2 viable CAVs, and 2 CLTs.
I'm still shot on resources though.
I've got 33k, 35k, 37k, 27k 133.

I play when I can, but I get discouraged by being labeled as kuso ttk for being human.

Don't take it too hard, not everyone can be a NEET. Unless you've done something easily preventable and stupid (sinking a ship), you're doing fine. You might miss a few event completions, but no shipgirl stays exclusive forever. You'll have ample time when your fleet is up to par, however long it takes.

That said, as >>13859204 said, the game is based around NEETs. If you're not autistic enough, you should focus on getting the girls you like (most of which will probably drop even in easy mode anyway) to a marriageable level such that you won't feel bad when you're done with the game for good (which everyone eventually will be, at some point).

When I first joined I took over a week to clear world 1, then over a week to unlock 2-4. On the other hand, I cleared 2-4 in a few days because I didn't know how to grind efficiently. Now if you give me a new account, I can unlock 2-4 in a day. But I probably wouldn't advise trying to pull what I did to clear 2-4. To me, this is one factor that distinguishes kusos from non-kusos: the ability to learn from mistakes.

Subs are great for cheap 3-2-A training (dupes help too). They basically guarantee no buckets will be used. They're even better for doing dailies/weeklies at low cost. You might try sub recipe during dailies a few times if you're lacking Shimakaze and Yukikaze. Otherwise, not worth it before the event.
Do the quests except World 2 bosses, rest of them result in resource gain. Dailies combined with ex2 should net you ~20 buckets a day. It's a good idea to sparkle your expeditions. Considering you're lacking in time, just sparkle four ships for ex21 and make sure you have at least four drums spread over at least three ships. Last expedition you should run is ex5. When possible, win PvP fight with expedition fleet for free sparkle, just remember to wait three minutes for morale regen.

For the first month or so only when you want to catch up your fleet to event standard.
My resources have been at cap level for a year now and I have all ships available.
I rarely play outside of event.
PVP and send out ex before I work and then PVP another time when I come back from work. All of my misc boats are level solely from PVP only. Akashi and Katori are going to hit lvl cap soon.

Compare to IAP mobage game like PAD, million chain or the new fate game it is super casual. Those games actually need you to play during random time daily for guerrilla dungeon. They are huge time sink compare to kancolle.

I've sunk 1 ship to date, and that was due to being dead tired after staying up all night to sign up for the game.
I got Mikazuki as my first drop and sank her by accident after clicking advance when I meant to click retreat. I didn't realize you could reset the connection to abort the mission, so I kept on going even though I knew it was suicide. I will never willfully make that mistake again.

The next time someone sank under my care, it was a calculated inevitability, and I had a damecon on them. Junyou kept getting critted just before the E2 boss final run every time I went in, and only her, so I gave her a damecon and did what I had to do.

It depends on the expedition. For ex2 you want 4DD, for ex5 you want 1CL + 3DD. I don't think any expedition needs 2CL. Check the wiki for requirements of each expedition. You should run ex5 all the time and ex9 overnight or when going out. Try to unlock ex21.

Every abyssal ship in 3-2A has ASW capability. If you eliminate them in the daytime, before the post shelling torpedo phase, literally zero shots will ever get aimed at any of the other five non-submarine ships in the fleet - the one sub soaks up all the damage and then gets a cheap and quick repair in the docks sans bucket while you swap in another sub and keep on power farming.

This is why 3-2A is such a good farming spot. Even after spots in later worlds are opened up, 3-2A has the distinction of being the outright safest farming location. If you're not particularly pressured for fuel and ammo but you desperately need buckets, you'll find yourself coming here.

They're sufficient for 37. A level 50 flag is required, so the other ships only have to pick up 150 levels between them, or 30 levels each.

E38 has a level 65 flag requirement with a sum of 240, so I would need level 35 Mutsukis for that.

However E38 is less useful to me than E37 right now since ammo gets used faster than fuel and I get all the fuel I need from E5 and E21 already; what I need is ammo.

When I'm at my computer and can spare the attention I run 2, 5, and 21; when I can't be assed to run E2 every 30 minutes because I'm on the move, I swap the second fleet over to 37 instead.

Not exactly. CLTs deal average 52 damage to Ru flag and 54 damage to Ta flag and 71 damage to Wo flag. Weaker ships are expected to die in one hit. Chuuha'd BBs or Wos are harmless.
