I agree. I was extremely disappointing with Ura Kyoushi because the sprites were the single reason I decided to play it after seeing them on exhentai and you never really got to see the sprites of the characters in their underwear during the story, just in the menu as an extra. Sexy sprites are better than sexy CGs.

Speaking of Bishop games, can anyone that has played the Mesu Kyoushi series tell me if you actually get to see the character sprites with just their underwear for more than a few moments, or is it just some menu extra bullshit like in Ura Kyoushi?

For an expert, they're the same. For somebody completely clueless, they're the same. For people inbetween, "One Direction's newest single" provides more information and is more informative than "Drag me Down." The company format is generally more informative.

>The start of a shitstorm is part of it.
There was never going to be any shitstorm if you didn't announce that all people who refer to company names are posers trying to prove how cool they are and attention whores.

Referring to a game by the new release of a company is simultaneously more informative to people who aren't Certified Eroge Experts at first place, simple to type, and easy to lookup.

The full name is equally or less informative, and harder to type. The other suggestions are way less informative but easier to type. The "reason stated above" is that apparently there are people out there who know every VN released every month but not VN companies. Which is garbage.

The company name is always indicative. In Clockup's case you're probably gonna look or up because of their varied output. But if it's something like Black CYC then it's pretty easy to immediately write it off as a no-go just based on the company. The clincher is, even in the Clockup scenario, going by company doesn't provide you with less. Whether some guy says "man, Fraternite was great" or "man, Clockup's latest was great," I still have to look it up. So there's no way going by company is really worse. You said that:
>Even an expert shouldn't be expected to remember release dates by heart.
Nobody has this expectation. Not even implicitly. The person referring to "One Direction's newest single" does not expect you to know that it was released on 5/31. He probably doesn't know what it was released himself. There are no expectations being made here other than maybe that you've heard of the company.

>Clockup is just an example, I don't recommend running away from so many points.
Then don't use examples that blow gaping holes int he points you are trying to make.

>It still is, you're not proving anything else.
The person who refers to One Direction's newest single as "One Direction's newest single" is not attention whoring. He is referring to the single in the way that is most natural to him when not necessarily talking to a group of experts who knows every song ever released.

The analogy extends to VNs despite the fact that more songs are released than VNs because most people don't know every eroge ever released, either.

I've barely started Rinko's route in Taimanin Yukikaze 2, but I can't help but feel this VN is really bad compared to the first game... I'm wondering if I should continue. Tatsurou is being genuinely hetare and unlikable. He broke character from the first game by saying he always liked Rinko, has been sleeping around... and he learned that they were prostitutes in the first game and had their bodies remodeled, so why was he so obsessed with confirming Rinko's hymen (restored by Kiryuu) and why do the events of the first game have no impact on anything he says or does? What's worst is that the major reveals were spoiled by the finale of Tatsurou's route which occurs before any of the choukyou scenes. Although Rinko's reason for getting enrolled in the maid division being "the uniform is cute" is nearly as bad. Real brilliant reason to end up a brainwashed sex slave, there.

I quite liked the first game, though, which I finished a few weeks ago. There was a strong dynamic between the two main heroines. The protagonist Tatsurou was a virgin and the girls were important to him, and he was a relatively cool guy; he wasn't hetare because of his personality, he was hetare because of the plot's circumstances and the fact the villains were experienced and mature men. The plot showed the gradual changes in the girls before the finale revealed the truth about what had been happening the whole time.

That's a popular slut street.

Speaking of, I can't get VNR to load text for this game and two CODEPINK games. Is it something inherent with the way the games were coded?

I can't answer your question, but I know that all kirikiri games have problems with Chiitrans lite, in that they ignore subsequent identical characters. I wouldn't be surprised if it has to do with the game engine.

I spent more time downloading and collecting nukige than playing the ones I get. I pretty much downloaded Miel's cataloage, a bunch of Anim and Lune.

preferably something with big dicked fat men and slutty gals or prostitutes.

I got the 2nd one off the bat because I wasn't sure which one of the first was the expansion edition. there only in the same settings, would reading the 2nd one ruin anything the first had?
Speaking of would playing Gyakushuu games out of order have that same effect. maybe I'm putting too much thought into it as it's just porn.

It looks good. I was just hankering for some more virile fat men and degenerate sluts after https://vndb.org/v14771

No, the plot lines are completely unrelated and the difference in quality between the first one and the second one is quite noticeable. Just make sure to get the Full Moon version as it's basically the complete edition that lets you fuck the best girl as well as adding a entire extra segment to the game.

The game system is basically the same as two so you should know what your getting into, finding weakness, making them fuck up on purpose and punishing them etc etc.

I've played 4 and 5, and from what I've seen the only connections between them are vague lore references and one or two sex scenes with characters from previous titles. Also, the guy who gives each protagonist their tentacle powers is the same, but you're not missing anything about him since we still don't really know anything.

Also, one thing I've noticed with the Gyakushuu series in general is that the main girl is always horribly uninteresting, and the interesting heroines don't get enough attention. Despite that, 4 was really good for its kind, in my opinion.

Neither would I, the game does a really good job with her character. I didn't expect to find somebody I'd enjoy that much when I played it for the first time and the buildup to that scene is one of those fapping experiences that you don't forget.
