How many of you, ever since /jp/ came about, have entirely stopped going to other boards?

I used to just browse /a/ casually but now for some reason, even though my power level is virtually zero, I find /jp/ more interesting.

Maybe it's just my inner weeaboo, but has anyone else made the change?

>> No.138385

I'm glued to /jp/ now. I will have to go back to /a/ in a few weeks to catch up on new shows this spring.

No. After the split, I only browse /a/.

I miss Touhou and VNs ;_;

>> No.138396

Used to frequent /v/ but not anymore. I'm a one board kinda guy.

>> No.138397

I've started visiting /jp/ almost as much as I go to /cm/.

I used to browse /g/ alot, I don't as much now as I'm mostly on /jp/

>> No.138405

I surf /jp/ and /a/ occasionally, but new /a/ makes me ;_;

>> No.138402

>>138372
I browse both.

Both have at least 80% of the threads hidden.

>> No.138415

/jp/ for daily fightan threads and such. people here are a lot nicer than /a/ was before

>> No.138411

>>138403
Me too!
>>138385
I'm trying not to get onto this boat of VNs. I just played a vn for the first time, tsukihime, and I got akiha true (WHAT THE FUCK). I gotta take a week off and get myself together before trying any other route...

Unless that Tsukihime DS is finished by mid week... oh god, that would make my university life a disaster.

>> No.138427

i like /a/ alot more than i did before, and i haven't stopped visiting /v/ or any of the porn boards

>> No.138428

Seems like trips are fine in /jp/.

>>138296

>> No.138430

I used to visit /a/ occasionally before the split (my main boards are /u/, /i/) but now I visit /jp/ since it's touhou central vs the old /a/. /a/ now is like... Naruto and Bleach.

>> No.138437

Went from /a/ + /v/ to /jp/ + a little /v/. The only annoying thing about /jp/ is the slow speed.

Fucking pussy.

>> No.138447

>>138442
I didn't expect it to end there and then ;_;

>> No.138449

I used to regularly lurk in /v/, and sometimes check out /a/.

Now it's mostly lurking in /jp/ and checking /v/ when things are quite slow here.

Not even sure why I'm here though. I guess you sad acts make me feel a bit better about myself. Something like that.

>> No.138458

I don't give two shits about Touhou or VN's, but I like the occasional /n/ shitstorm threads that occur here.

A cup of spite is the most delicious beverage of all.

how did you even see this thread if you only browse /a/?

When I first came to 4chan I only went to /b/ then I switched to /a/ and now I pretty much just read /jp/

>> No.138491

I'm here from /m/. For some reason, kigurumi and... what else do we do here? Like Touhou or something? It keeps me clicking here before /m/ now.

My browsing of /b/ has gone down 70%.

>> No.138517

I actually browse more now, but post far less in /a/ because /jp/ is not always good
alot of /m/ now and I found out how awesome /toy/ is, it's made of childhood memories and win

/jp/ has pretty much become my main board since the split.

Sometimes i go and glance at /a/, /b/, and /v/ but nothing else

Used to browse /a/ all the time, but I've completely stopped going there since /jp/ came. Still go to /e/ and /h/ once or twice a week.

>> No.138546

I go to a bunch of boards once in a while except /k/, /v/, /hr/, /f/, /ck/, and most of the new boards.

>> No.138551

I stopped looking at /a/ sometime last year.

The great big joke that /a/ was stopped being funny anymore. Or they made it not funny. One or the other, I'm still not entirely sure.

I used to go to the News board to look at people have racist arguments. Now I have to come here for the angry racists to lulz at. Sucks because it's all about asians here and I don't know anything about asian history, so there's no context for the lulz.

>> No.138566

I mostly stick to /jp/ these days, but check out /a/, /ck/, /trv/ from time to time.

I used to look at /p/ and /s/... now I mainly stay here.. much more fun. I just wish I had Melty Blood so I could play some of you. I saw it while in Thailand a few weeks back and it looks like fun, but with next semester coming soon I won't have time.

>> No.138697

Biggest mistake in 4chan history to remove /jp/ from /a/.

Each board has a beating soul that occasionally churns out off-topic stuff, it's usually the wilder, more stranger elements. The kinds of people that will post detailed descriptions about how they want to rape Yuno for example, really graphic descriptions of such things.

All those people have moved to /jp/, so for example, the ronery is still in /a/, but it has no head, it is leaderless.

>> No.138698

also a little 7/a/ and 420/b/

/jp/ for the most part, but I go by /sp/ a few times a day as well.

>> No.139177

I usually stick to this board, but I still check /a/ and /v/ sometimes.

>> No.139181

I don't browse much of either, only come here to see if visual novels or something are on the talk but I still find it really stupid to split visual novels/lights novels out of /a/. If someone who doesn't know any better look at both boards there'd be no difference but eh, now I just browse /v/ all the time like I use to...ah well.

>> No.139199

I just alternate between /jp/ and /r9k/ all day. I have long since stopped going to /v/ since it's nothing but /braaaaaaawl/ and /consolefaggotry/. On the rare occasions I pop into /a/, it's for a VH1-esque "where are they now?" look at what a festering shit hole it has become ever since its rapid downward spiral into booze, pills, and Bleach threads.

I do however make the rounds of /e/, /h/, and /u/ for my daily fapping session.

>> No.139202

/jp/ and /a/. More /jp/ than /a/ since it allows for more offtopic discussion.
And pasta.
And original VNs.
And nice day threads.

Still, I like the anime&manga discussion in /a/, but it's not the same, you know?

>> No.139579

/b/ -> /v/ -> /a/ -> /jp/

This is my board history. Also, a brief stop at 7chan between /a/ and /v/.

I still use all except /b/. MR ROBOT0 is a superior source for randomness.

/a/... I'm watching a few animes. Will probably stop after this season. /a/'s quality has dropped dramatically since the split. I only got really into anime because /a/ was fun.

/v/ is still useful. I still love the vidya. But I'm now less interested in the mainstream stuff and more into development and indie shit. The trolling and raging annoys, of course. Fatlus threads are lol.

>> No.139587

/jp/ -> /a/ -> /v/ -> /d/ -> /jp/ -> Tenhou

>> No.139619

I only browse here and /b/ occasionally.
I sometimes glance over /a/, but im only likely to post to cause a SHITSTORM or something lulz happened in an animu.

My board history has been /gaia-.. I mean, /b/ -> /a/ -> /jp/
Hooray weeaboos.

I think trips are fine here, simply because us Japitalists are probably much more tolerant than the n/a/zis.

But then again, the tradition of lynching a few outstanding obnoxious tripfags is still pretty much alive here.

Huh. Does nobody check /cgl?
Its about as otaku as you can get. I don't post pics b/c they're all merciless shallow people, but they give good sewing advice.

You people need to get out more. Not just into the world but into the other boards. They got something for everyone.

/toy/ is a perfect 1st stop.

My own picks are usually /jp/ /cgl/ /toy/ /fa/.
Browsing /fit/ /trv/ and /a/
Sometimes /w/ /y/ /an/.

/B/ has always sucked. It's where the lost and the stupid dwell.

>> No.140637

Hmm.
Was an /a/ resident (with a side of /c/)
Then when /toy/ opened up, I raged at the "no figurines" thing.
Then I moved here. I now browse /jp/, /n/ (fuck yeah trains), with occasional /g/ and /k/. Rarely do I lurk /a/ anymore.

>> No.141211

i used to browse /l/ a lot but they deleted the board so i came here.
