They would've announced WT4 already. I think they announced WT3 in May or June last year and had the concerts in November. They'll announce (after all this anniversary shit is over) either an album or a world tour and I'd rather take an album at this point.

You should add in that the original /jp/ threads started because of WT3 hype, with Perfume finally coming to America.

These threads went from comfy 2-3 posts a day to 50-70 IPs for each thread right around the new york show, went back down to normal comfy, then it got to a point where the thread would go up to 300 posts in 2 days with only 15 IPs. Which is when I got tired and left.

My last deed in these generals was the JAV. I sure did fight to find it and get the DRM removed. That's my mega link in the pastebin.

I always hoped the general would stay up till Perfume retired in late 2016, but seeing pictures like yours and how informative the OP is tells me we had a good run and wouldn't mind living it with you guys again, the good parts at the very least.

I agree. If Perfume keeps it up and doesn't tarnish their legacy, they could go another few years. But clearly Perfume is in its latter phase. as I've argued before, Perfume could expand in other asian countries, but not in the West. the best they could do for their western fans is make it easier to buy their stuff + more english translation.

hopefully a couple more albums, more fanservice, then retire. possibly Achan goes solo while Nocchi and Kashiyuka do other stuff (video games, JAV, who knows)

Eh, there's crazies in every fandom, the difference is koreans WANT crazy fans to buy all their shit and watch all their shows because kpop = tourism. My problem is that it's hard to get/stay obsessed with perfume because of how little content they have outside of releases. A~chan is perfect in everyway and I love her for sure, but I get the same feeling for Nocchi more often even though I don't like her as much.

the nature of perfume is pretty funny when you think about it.

A~chan is extremely talented but doesn't have an idols figure and when she started didn't have an idols face either. she would have never been able to make it if it wasn't for two super attractive people backing her up. granted it could have been any two attractive people as long as she could hold the same relationship with them as she does nocchi and yuka but the fact still remains that it isn't the fact that it is nocchi and yuka specifically still stands.

yuka is damn near talentless and couldn't have made it without A~chan boosting her up, even if was someone with half the talent of A~chan it wouldn't be enough. only someone as multi talented as A~chan could compensate for yukas lack of any.

nocchi at closer examination is the only person that could have made it solo, she has the face and body for it, and the dancing and singing capabilities but she is too anti social, she would never hold fans because she would never want to do hand shake events, go on tv music stations or any other social gathering.

A~chan wore potato sack dresses when she was chubby to cover it up, thats a fact. yuka has worn them before and still looked shapely and slender. A~chan CAN'T look like this ever.

A~chans torso is almost twice the size of yuka's (I would say about 160% larger or some random hardly thought of number).

I think Amuse is trying to push them internationally too late for them to be hanging it up anytime soon. It does feel like the end(probably moreso because everyone has been saying that) but they just played a tiny club at a festival in Austin and are featured on Amuse US homepage.

As for the music, everyone liked Story when we first heard it. People seem to forget about it.

They should've announced an album after SXSW when the story hype was still going. Their past 2 albums have come out in November/October respectively so I was expecting one but I doubt they'll release one this late in the year with no warning.

I think they'll have that Tokimeki Lights or whatever that crap was as a late single this year and then finally an album in Spring 2016 but by then the fandom will be dried up.
