If you don't have even 1 cc archer, I would get one. Of those 2 I would recommend Daniela first. Affection is easier to get than trust as well as Stray is not that much better than Daniela without the skill, and even with that its not much. Hes good for male only things though.

I've never done events or seen the videos yet, so I can't say for certain if 2 cc archers would be good or not.

You can go to http://www.hongfire.com/forum/showthread.php/437500-Nutaku-Millennium-War-Aigis-%28Updated-7-8-2015-Next-event-announced%29 and look at the maps to see if you think you would do better with an archer or valk.

If you have 1 or 2 decent duelists than the archer will still prob be the better option potentially.

Yesterday was my first time trying Gold Armor H, and I managed to get 1 Plat amongst my numerous attempts.
Also, if you're getting consistenly terrible drops, have you considered emptying your cache? I know some people find it helps if they keep getting lousy results from the gacha, so maybe it'll help with drops too.

By the way, does anyone know what time the maintenance will be done? I turned my laptop on this morning, hoping to have a few more goes at Gold Armor H, but the bloody thing stopped me.

Honestly having the fast forward become toggle able is almost as nice overall as it applies to everything. Aigis is sorta viewed as their only strategic game right now and they might be concerned auto complete might scare that crowd off.

I also think auto completes can be off putting to new players as well. Speaking personally I likely would have quit quite quickly if I'd seen it as it tends to be associated with really crappy gameplay.

Perhaps they could restrict it to players who have either cleared or 3*ed immortal breast, in addition to current requirements on dmm? Would people find that agreeable?

That feels like it would keep it away from newer players while allowing older players not to want to punch a wall farming dragon hunting.

Well if the standard is 1*ing immortal beast then we are only talking about people who have been playing for less than a month. You can also include people who really suck, got nothing but silvers from rolls, didn't reroll and haven't seen a single good event. The basic idea is just to get people to at least play a bit to get a sense of things while actually having to play. It should also ground their sense of reward which is useful.

Also I feel I should point out the amount of time you've spent farming dragon hunt if you can't clear immortal beast really isn't that long. Look at your total exp. Now consider that an hour of pure active play is 120-180 runs. Now divide your total exp by 59640 for a rough guess at the amount of time you've actually spent actively farming it.

It's much higher of course if you sit there and stare at it for some retarded reason after you're done placing units.

first two maps prob easy enough, but 3rd map and on are probably gonna be real hard. I would watch videos and do a single test to see how well you do on the maps. This way you'll know better where you are weak and can focus and lvling up to compensate.

I would probably focus on just clearing up to 4th mission regardless of stars so you least can get Roana. Then if you want can try to get more stars to get her better.

My witches are 15 cost Belinda and Cloris who are 50CC53 and 50CC27 respectively, and 50CC33 Calliope who isn't CR'ed so costs 13.
I have a hunch that it won't be enough to clear the damn thing, should I level another Calliope? I only have 1 extra so trying to CR the first one doesn't make much sense

This guy has a min cost Belinda, but with +5 UP you can deploy earlier than him. I tried it without the +5 UP using a 15 Belinda and 10 Calliope and it didn't work out since Belinda attacks the first unit too late.

Depends on how you want to use them, if you just plan on afking than they prob aren't that useful. But if you want to micro manage they have potential.

For instance with Fedora I can setup Roana out of heal range and let her use her ability and when she gets real low and possibly die use fedora's skill to heal her back up, or use Roana's heal. Also avengers can be good against things that hit hard but slow, procing passive off and on long as have healer.

Tldr, not as good at afk (though will still hurt), can be good with other skills/microing.

Sure they are great for picking off single slow units. The problem is any missions or even parts of missions where that happens are really easy anyway and a princess would suffice.

If they could apply the multiplied damage without dying it would be great. Unfortunately it feels like all the big waves where you really need that damage will also just kill it.

Still a good duelist overall for people who don't have relevant plats admittedly as even without the multiplayer her stats are decent.

You know, I often wish that I had a team that was in better shape back when the Maribel event was going.
That's probably been the event that I most would've wanted to take advantage of so far.
Upgraded Maibel seems like she'd be my cup of tea, and being able to farm Silver units for CC-ing, mini-costing and skill upgrades seemed great.
I haven't gotten much out of the events so far, but that's the one I have the most regrets about.

On the rare occasion where there are so many bosses to assist on, I eat a jewel and carry on - or more likely I just level up. They are not exactly scarce.

I've already got my physical weapon - it has the exact same attack stat as my rod (i.e. same mediocrity). It's still 2~3 swings to get assist on Mecha Chocola. When stronger bosses show up, you turn to SR++ Chocola. Eventually we'll we get Limit Breaks (i.e. "awakenings") in LoV.

Asklepios is not necessary as such, but a Dark Blade/Dark Rod +5 are as good as your Shiva. And will only get better when you upgrade them (which is also mucho easier to do than your +16 stick)

I know exactly how that feels. I didn't really realize how class evolving worked for a while and just combined every duplicate silver healer I got to cost reduce. And then I was left with... none for the longest of times. That really slowed me down in events, not having a CC'd healer. Then one day I got lucky with my free shrine roll and got a Dorca.

Archer in the curve up the top on the more eastern of the two shooter positions, prince right up the top, Katie under the prince.

Event units aren't always all that great. I rolled Sakuya when I started during the 2nd Dragon Princess event. She was pretty much worthless because an underleveled *melee* unit just really can't contribute when stupid dragon mages appear and 2 shot them.

Not dissing on Sakuya though, I field her in my main team now as a replacement for a second Heavy Armor. She's good in pretty much any situation where a Heavy handles a rush and she makes a pretty decent ganker to boot.

You only get one from the regular missions because it's a completion reward.

Maribel is the worst event unit we've had so far, very few places she could be used well. It'd be better to max Leeane, she'd be far more useful 99% of the time. Echidna is close but she was a consolation prize, though she was useful for people without 2 CC healers.

Anya and Karma are great if a little niche in their uses due to their cost and no heals respectively.

Aria and Belinda are amazing solid units that you'll always want for a new map you're unsure on, due to their great stats and their ease of min costing. Unless you have a better gacha unit that is, which is very rare to get.

The strongest Goblins (Black) can have between 0 (standard/king, archers, and mages), and 320 (cavalry).
Dragons are usually like 300 - 400.
Giants / Cyclops from 150 - 300
Youkai 50 - 1000
High-Tier Dragonkin 300 - 500
Those Mermen fuckers 300 - 500
Armors 150 - 1000
Skeletons 100 - 650
Demons 150 - 900
Etc.
You literally have to do a map by map analysis.

after reading this thread I tried the premium rolling for the first try and I got

so I just got my first black unit and looking at it, it is lacking the 99 lvl cap unless you get that upon CCing. I guess to cut to the chase is she really worth 21 if not 24 points when I cc her? I can't see her ability doing it for me.

Black units don't get lvl 99 until they are awakened. As for Liana she is considered on the low end in terms of blacks, but she is still a black healer and will trump silver and gold. Up to you to determine if you want to level her for healing. When we get more status effects stuff her ability will be more useful, whenever they come back again.

Meh, I'd rather use a Vanguard Tactician over a Samurai. One less block than an awoken samurai, and not quite so tough, but teamwide buff skills and reducing the cost of all other units by 2 make them an interesting blend between soldier and samurai at the cost of 1 block.

For me, I found the last mission harder. Didn't 3* it until I acknowledged Roana tanks my ranged units so I have to get Aria out to kill ONE GOBLIN ARCHER then withdraw her. Thankfully, the time for the 2nd Roana to show on left is enough for Aria to use her skill before disappearing.

I guess yeah, this one just kinda jumped up out of nowhere and bit me, compared to how much effort and time it took just to get a single Charlotte, which is why initially I thought it was a completion reward.

Must've got really lucky since this was only my second run, where the first I fucked up and let a unit die to the archers that always catch me off guard with how much damage they do so quickly.

What you really need for that map is a lot of strong ranged units. The strats I've seen for the greater demon there are either token spam while he dies to ranged units, tanking him with Karma/Olivier, or just overwhelming damage with slows to stop him. The map after it is probably more doable with a weak team, but it takes a lot more strategy.

If you micro well enough you may be able to put a unit down and withdraw before his attack hits, but I haven't tried it.

All right. I tried again but failed because I got cocky--I can 3* it for sure.

Similar to Nasu's video, except I place Katie instead of bronze heavy. Non-CC archer at the middle and CC archer at the top. Got to place a bronze soldier before the prince to stop the goblin from escaping (this is the only thing that escaped) I thought I'd have enough time for Prince deployment but no, goblins are too fast.

A bit of a shame you can't pause and place units too.
