I was watching Shugo Chara and for no real reason I crossed my eyes and made myself look like I'm really Japanese and guess what? The quality of the animation went up by OVER 9000 TIMES! I'm serious. Squinting my eyes made it look so unbelievably good I had to try it out on all my other weeaboo shit; everything from my lolicon mangas to Tsukihime's art had improved drastically. It has GOT to be the reason that all of Japan's animation has 'gone down' in quality for the last ten or so years. It CAN NOT be a coincidence that everything looks so much better when I squint my eyes; this is real Japanese science at work.

Yes i'm really sure kyoani and the like has seriously decreased the quality of animation and i'm sure your old VHS tapes are much better quality then HD DVB-T or Blue-ray DVDs.
