Should Ryou have left for space? Is a romance more important than the future he had ahead of him? Are loli kisses really worth experiencing the apocalypse alone in your grandma's cabin in New Hampshire?

Please don't start a thread with a surprise train.

Surprise train?

A train of surprise boxes.

I don't know what you mean. Are a series of spoilered comments not cool?

They're actual spoilers this time, retard.

Many people on /jp/ have heart diseases so they can't stand surprise boxes.

A surprise train is worse than that.

Surprise!

I still feel it's ill form to have a post comprised solely of spoilers.

>> No.13638177

>>13638165
The picture isn't spoilered, which is enough to tell you what the thread is about.

It's also poor form to derail an on-topic thread into meta garbage right off the bat.

"Gomenasai" then.

Sorry if it bothered you. I just wanted to talk about the ending, so I expected an extremely spoiler-y thread and started it out with that way.

>> No.13638187

To stay on topic though, was that ending not kind of ridiculous?

>> No.13639551

You faggots don't even notice your tryhard elitism is what kills potential discussion.
He decided to stay because loli is the one who taught him human emotions. Both of them were broken people in extreme situations that led them to lose their humanity. The simple SoL parts are precisely the moments where they can finally rest and spend something simple, but very important that was far away from them for their whole life: a peaceful and relaxing everyday life where they can laugh, talk, appreciate the scenario, and the like. It was the best possible ending. I'd say in fact the military scenario was more of a problem because it lacked time to develop.

>> No.13641227

>>13639551
That makes sense. I think that part of the problem for me was that Sion's death came so quickly after the final ship's departure and their relaxation together was so brief. I like that Sion expressed that though right before. It made it clear they knew their choice wasn't perfect.

I think it's an issue in overall of the game being overly short. If the game was prolonged with more urban scenes, more details in the military scenario and a better explanation about the world ending and all of that, it really could have shaped up to be a masterpiece in the medium. Well, it was a good title in overall. I didn't notice the briefness though probably because it was one of my first VNs in japanese so I took my sweet time with it.

>> No.13642718

>>13641660
Yeah, I think the vagueness of the world's end was part of the problem for me. Oh well, I liked it over all. I read it in English, but maybe I'll try another minori game when I try attempt reading VNs in Japanese next year.

I recommend trying out ef and Prologue.

>> No.13643098

>>13638177
even if the picture isn't spoilered someone still might attempt to read the comment to figure out what the picture is about and end up getting the ending spoiled. like I just did. thanks asshole.

>> No.13643153

>>13643098
It was clear anyways (especially from the game's subtitle and al the promotional material) that he was going to stay the whole time. Knowing that really wouldn't ruin your enjoyment of eden* at all.

>> No.13643185

>>13642778
I've heard that minori goes overboard with the amount of h-scenes in recent games. Is Prologue like that?

>> No.13643187

>>13643098
They're spoiler boxes, they were made for spoilers. You shouldn't be surprised when that's what you get.

>> No.13643849

>>13643185
Well, it's not as near as bad as Perseus. It shouldn't be an issue.

>> No.13644402

Is this any good? I thinking of picking it up because its 60% off on steam right now. I've always wanted to try a VN, and it looks nice.

>> No.13644578

>>13644402
Go for it. It's really good for being as short as it is and would be a great starter VN.
