I've been a NEET for just a little bit over a year now.
It's coming to an end in Feb of next year, though.
In the beginning it was great, especially since I had just graduated college.
After a few months it gets incredibly tedious. Fell into depression for awhile.
The hardest part is finding something to do all day for months at a time.
It's easy if you're really into a particular game (such as an MMO) and can just play that all day.
I found I got pretty fed up with my hobbies for months at a time (anime, video games, making music).
I have week long periods where I don't do anything but browse the same handful of 4chan boards until I get so tired I can't keep my eyes open.
I really don't care about money, and my parents are covering my student loan repayments, so that aspect does not bother me in the slightest.
The feeling of being a burden is almost overwhelming, though.
