Reimu, Marisa and Sanae were out hunting for youkai. It was getting late, and the heroines were
getting tired. Somehow, they had succeeded to get lost within the outern fields of Gensokyo. One could
almost say that they were whithin the boundary. After a few hours of being hopelessly lost, they
suddenly bumped into an old, strong youkai. It was Yukari.
"You three have come deep into my terrain", the reality warper explained, "and I have a challenge for

After a few moments of pondering, the three humans agreed on the challenge. They were required to pick
a rescourse found whithin Gensokyo and stuff ten of those into their mouths. They could pick any item
to their liking, Yukari would retrieve it for them.
Reimu was first. She picked money, copper coins. It was going very well for her until at the seventh
coin she accidentally swallowed one and had to gag - vomiting the items from her mouth.
Marisa was up next. She decided to pick then pearls from a necklace she had - borrowed - from someone.
It was an easy task and Marisa was about to win, until she started laughing her ass off, spitting the
items from her mouth.
"What the fuck, Marisa", asked Reimu, "you could easily have done that. Why did you fail?"
"It was going very well", the magician answered, "until I started laughing when I saw Sanae gathering
ten men around her."

PoFV is credited yeah and the art just doesn't look like ZUN's work if you look closely. You can even see Alphes's stupid shading style in it. But I am fairly sure those are ZUN's base lines so you're still seeing true designs.

The original was three guys who were lost in the jungle and were found by a tribe of niggers. The niggers wanted to kill the three guys for a sacrifice, but offered them a chance - if they could complete a challenge, they would be allowed to live. The challenge was to grab 10 of any item from the jungle and stuff them all in their asses without budging. The first guy went and came with 10 apples. He failed. The second guy went and came with 10 grapes. He manages to almost win, losing when he started laughing when they got to the last grape. Honestly, I'm absolutely not bothered by her new look.
Especially for the clothing, it's not even vulgar, it's more modern and I personally like it.
Characters grow up and evolve with time. It's not better or worst, it's just different, both old and new looks are nice.

It's just you guys who sexualize everything that think the wrong way (also: why do you complain about the size of a skirt if you only think about sex?).
And for the hair, well, I prefer long hair, but shorter is not bad at all, and that new haircut design is pretty to me too.

The design is fine, really.

The only thing that actually bothers me is how it was drawn. God damnit.

I mean, seriously. Just be honest, I know that a lot of original artworks were fucked up for some characters, but it looks like her barber got a seizure during the haircut...

It looks weird only because the hair is drawn like shit.
If you look at this picture >>13537003 where the hair is correctly drawn, she's beautiful.

The rest of the drawing (except the feet) is cool, but the hair is so weird.
Let's be positive: an actual improvement is that the colors are sober and not flashy/saturated like it was before, it's really more coherent and doesn't aggress the eye anymore.
