I used to post a whole lot, but I had stopped watching the train station towards the end of January until very recently. I might be the only one here with such an opinion, but I prefer the train station without snow rather than with it, so I've started watching it on a daily basis again in the last few days.

A train fan taking a picture of a train on the right platform.

Sometimes I wonder if it wouldn't be better if this thread had some time off without being constantly bumped. There just doesn't seem that as many people enjoy walking and discussing the train station anymore, and I sometimes think that that might be because they may have "overwatched" the train station, and that that might have taken the charm of it away. Who knows.

Thats certainly true to an extend.

However on the same token there really isn't much in the way of evens AFAIK. E.g. the last event was the AizuLiner farewell in March IIRC.

However for me I'm one of those who watch this especially for the snowy winter wonderland version. So I'm most active during the winter months,

The trains stop at platform one(right) are electric multiple units, usually seen are 719 series, and 485 series on weekend. Those stop at platform 2(left) are mostly diesel multiple units like KiHa 47-1500 series. Also the steam locomotive "ばんえつ物語" can seen on weekends.
