Why won't ZUN create an angel Touhou?

Everybody knows otaku love hot western girls. A hot angel girl would obviously become popular.

There were more Western lore originating characters in the early games, but then it started to be mostly youkai. We saw a pretty big lack of any western content from 7 until 14, when there was a dullahan introduced and the game borrowed from Little Red Riding Hood.
It's like it was intentionally staying away from Western content, perhaps for namesake. I think we can see a bit more coming out in new releases, though, if 14 and 14.5 are anything of a hint.

Christianity is way too popular in the real world and I doubt anybody is Christian in Gensokyo either.
