Do you know any surprising or unexpected, or just plain silly facts about /jp/? Post them!

Here's one to start us off:
Since 2013, more than 2 out of every 3 threads posted on /jp/, or 69% of all threads, have been deleted! Haha, where'd they go? This interesting statistic is calculated by taking the number of deleted threads in a given time period and then dividing it by the number of total threads posted in that same time period, like this
>>/jp/?task=search2&search_op=op&offset=72750
>>/jp/?task=search2&search_op=op&offset=50000&search_del=yes
A bonus subfact, this rate appears to be much lower on other boards, which only managed to lose around 1/6 or between 10 and 20 percent of their threads. I wonder what makes /jp/ stand out among the crowd.

Wow, that was cool, but I bet there's lots of other neat trivia left to learn about /jp/, so please share them with everyone!

you got it backwards

I think you mean 69%, or over two-thirds, of all threads on the jay get deleted.

if more than 2 out of three threads posted got deleted that'd be all threads

it's because /jp/ is such high-quality obviously

also not otaku culture so reported.

Fun Fact: Our previous janitor, affectionately termed "meido" by users but mostly himself, suffered a massive cranial hemorrhagic at the end of 2010 due to a bad interaction between a psychiatric drug cocktail chose at random, and brain cancer. Free from his watchful eye, /jp/ was able to shitpost freely as never before.

A computer was later hooked to his comatose self, and the remnants of his brain activity used to teach a computer program to moderate the board.

For a thread to exist it has to be posted first. Not "posted in".

Have you ever checked http://www.4chan.org/bans
There are more bans in /jp/ than in the big boards

Nobody said "posted in". As such, who are you quoting?

/jp/ is a graveyard.

It's no coincidence that ZUN makes a track about "Let's Live in a Lovely Cemetery".

That's /jp/.

I'm trying to understand where you're coming from because your correction doesn't make sense.

The guy thinks "posted in" is a quote.

But nobody said "posted in" therefore he thought it's quoting abuse. Therefore, who are you quoting.

I mean that I assumed you thought the original text mistakenly meant "posted in" since your initial correction doesn't make sense otherwise, please forgive my rudeness.

Don't worry friend, I will take away your rudeness!!!

That might just be because /jp/ uses the report feature a lot more than the other boards. I get it that you're trying to point out that /jp/ is shit (or maybe that the moderation is overzealous, since your kind loves to parrot that), but, honestly, nobody really gives a shit. I'll browse this board for as long as I have fun here and not one second longer, and you should do the same. Take it easy.

Changeover of a social formation from a claimed definite institution to a fluid context of styles has to trace itself out in some phenomenology of trust. Trust is itself a term for a clustering of perceptions.
