My suggestion would be to either buy or make a body pillow which you can use to support her while you straddle the pillow and do your thing. Don't worry, the first time is always awkward. It was for me, but I've improved with her since then. Yes and no, Swedish customs are weird. You have the actual customs that "inspect" packages and look for illegal stuff, during the course of 10+ years they've opened one box of mine. The customs fee/tax processing is done by the post office and they're not allowed to open packages so they just have to go based on the declared value/supplied paperwork. So for an EMS package that always require proper paperwork having the numbers changed a bit generally means no/little customs. The 10 dollar/euro flat fee isn't applied to EMS either so if you're buying something cheap you know you're gonna get customs on you can just go EMS and end up cheaper in the end.

Socks and stockings tend to work pretty well, but SD13 sized tops and skirts are a complete gamble. I've found that Volks SD13 sets usually tend to be too loose and then some nine9style and random chinese stuff is completely fine. Volks DD specific clothes are the safest bet, but usually super expensive.

I really wish spring would get here quickly, I want to do outdoors photography again! There's already enough light to go by, but everything's still gray and brown and ugly, boo.

So much this. Someone mentioned on /toy/ that DD owners only make their dolls wear Volks and Coolcat outfits and thus lack any semblance of imaginativity. The problem is of course that a lot of SD clothing just look bad on DDs unless they're designed to be baggy. As the other anon mentioned, a few companies make clothes that fit decently. I have a few items from TTYA that are ok but in my experience even clothing that explicitly mentions DD in the description will not fit perfectly if they also mention other body types.

Pic related, doll on the right has a pair of TTYA jeans, there's a noticeable gap between the waist of the jeans and the doll herself. Doll on the left is wearing a pair of jeans that are custom made for the DD body, no gap. Pen is there purely for instructional purposes.

I have to agree with several other anons that Blue Rose Garden eyes are very nice. I've also recently gotten a pair of eyes from Lizanna and they're stunning in person, here's Rise as a model.

I've had a girlfriend before, but It was long distance and at the height of my depression, so it is definitely not a good standard to go by. I feel it's just as likely for me to end up single, and I'm ok with that. I still want to experience a real relationship first.

The stigma of a single male adopting even a boy (let alone a girl) really fucking sucks. I'm not a pedophile, something just doesn't feel right to me about bringing a new kid in to the world when there are so many who are in need of love already. Bought a new sister for Mimori from Nakano's Mandarake yesterday :3 I thought Alters were supposed to be DD2 but this one actually seems to have a DDS body, at least the arms have the modern double joint and the head joint is bent, not straight. Bit of a shame since I boucht a DD2 s-bust, but when I started to replace the bust piece I noticed the hard plastic "ribcage" was missing alltogether..

Well, thanks to that the DD2 bust piece also fits well and the proportions still look good and she doesn't feel floppy either, so I think it's not worth it hunting down the proper DDS bust pieces, heh.

Also found a cheap 800y wig that suits her very fine and some Azone 50cm clothes that also go on very well, so I was able to complete the naked doll already here in Japan before going home.

You've just got to keep practicing. don't expect your first faceup to look good. You'll probably have to wipe and re-do it several times.

Only other option is to buy a head with a faceup.

You can wipe the faceup as many times as you want. Just don't be dumb about what materials you're using. Don't buy the cheapest acrylic and pastels you can find. Buy the right sealant, seal your layers, and use proper cleaner when you want to re-do.

Do Azone/Obitsu 50cm clothes really fit a DDS? I was under the impression DDS were too big. I have some (what I believe to be) MDD clothing for my Azone 50 girls and even that seem a bit tight.

I made some elcheapo clothes hangers for my girl's wardrobes after watching a video on jewtube. I got sick of keeping everything flat in a drawer where it'd invariably get wrinkled.

Here's a bit of a more proper picture of Saber taken with a camera and not a cellphone. The sleeves are a tad bit short and skirt length is like that but otherwise the Obitsu 50cm clothes fit just fine. The DD3 with S bust is super slim around the waist though!

Mimori is very happy to welcome her new sister! Funny how their hair color ended up almost matching even though Saber's wig was just from the bottom of Mandarake's endless random item boxes without any specific planning.

Also bought a few pairs of the limited Type-N eyes from Volks showroom for Mimori to try out. It's such a shame taking photos wasn't allowed in the Volks showroom, the place was really heaven on earth! The selection of items for sale wasn't all that special, but there was like almost 50 different model dolls dressed up really nice. Azone shop however did allow photos, once I go through the memory card of my travel camera I'll post some here.
