If you're talking beer that shit's ezpz with basic kits. The beer kits come with instructions and oftentimes your equipment kits will come with manuals that explain the basic process of brewing/fermenting beer. I'd suggest starting with a 5 gallon brew kit that uses a plastic bucket for fermenting. Something like this

amzn.com/B002BTZZ5S

or this

amzn.com/B00F6JZILG

And then branch out from there. Basically any beginner beer kits you get will start you on malt extracts which don't really require any major timing/effort to brew and will let you get an understanding for the basic process of brewing beer. Later on you can introduce grains, and start moving to partial/full mash beer.

My first kit cost me approximately $60 bucks which had everything I needed except for the empty beer bottles which are almost given, the bottle caps and the sanitizer. The bottle caps range from 3 to 10 bucks, and the sanitizer ranges between 10 to 30 bucks and comes in different formats. I only use sanitizing solutions when I make myself some more costly beers, otherwise I use a few drops of bleach dissolved in a few liters of water with a few drops of vinegar and it works fine.

You can also get your hands on easy cap bottles but the prices are ridiculous. They can go up to 80 bucks for a set of 12. The lowest I've found were $25 and they looked and felt quite cheap.

Dude Heady is off the fucking chain. I've only been able to get 4 cans but it was absolutely worth it. The only other hardcore rave double IPA I've been able to get is Pliny the Elder and although that's still good, Heady is definitely better.

How hard was branching to distillation for you? I've kinda considered it (legally of course) but it seems like too much work to build up to. Right now I've got a still mead project in the works because I received a carboy as a Christmas gift and mead is just awesome in general.

Cool.
I drink alcohol because I'm 28 and my life has gone horribly, horribly wrong.

Just go for Gin Tonic, it's easily the most entry level drinks and one the best simple drinks too, once you're actually breaking away from the girly shit.

I don't drink alcohol often because it seems to give me sleep problems. But anyway, if not for that, I'd probably drink cheap red wine fairly often. I've bought "basics red wine" from Sainsbury's a few times, and enjoyed the taste.

That's pretty neat.
I drink alcohol because it's fun and it's fantastic self-medication for social anxiety.

Alcohol (or a decent amount) disrupts REM sleep. Which is why when people lay off the sauce for a bit they start having very vivid dreams.

The Oni only drink high quality alcohol.
Suika's gourd has a worm thing inside that turns any liquid into high quality sake.
Yuugi's saucer makes everything drunk from it taste great.
Kasen's box thing also improves the quality of anything drunk from it, but in a more abstract sense.

>> No.13246541

Masking a shit drink doesn't make it a non shit drink. As with cooking, it's the materials, not the spices, that determine quality. Just admit Suika is a moefied bum.

>Masking a shit drink doesn't make it a non shit drink
Who's talking about masking?

The sake bug is a pocket worm version of Jesus.
The saucer doesn't mask, it improves the taste of anything you pour into it.

Suika is an alcoholic and the representation of drinking loads of alcohol, but she doesn't drink garbage.

Coming to think of it, each of the Oni represent one of the main uses of alcohol in our society.
Suika is the obvious "drink loads and loads to get fucked up".
Yuugi is all about refined taste and drinking it for the taste.
Kasen represents the medical applications of alcohol.

I bet you don't know that there should be five of them and that Suika being one of the four doesn't make any sense.
