i think i won the lottery because i got to the server screen and could click on a server, but whenever i clicked on it i'd get an error screen and eventually i couldn't click on it anymore

is it because all of the servers are actually full or did i fuck up?

Holy fuck this is frustrating. Hoppou keep taiha-ing one and only one of my ship. Only one, no less no more. More than 10 runs already, we saw the boss only once. Fuck this shit I'm gonna switch back to south route.

What is the best build for DD's on 3-2?

So far I have 6 DD's and they are all Kai, and I have 3 of them maxed out and all 6 of them are carrying 2x torpedo's each and a 12.7 main gun. Is that as good as it's going to get for them build wise? or am I missing something? because at least one or two are getting BTFO on the first node and I ain't sure if it's because I have missed something (I have followed the wiki) or RNG just loves to hate me.

Taken up but years ago. Even if they can, it'll be a pain to raise her considering her weight. The state of the wreck is still unknown too since there were conflicting reports if there was an underwater explosion that went off when she capsized that can split the ship into two or she just simply capsized.
Either way I don't think they will raise her. It's a war grave and the best they can do is preserve the site (if the PH government cared enough) or probably salvage a few mementos for display in museums with the Japanese government's permission of course.

Irako costs 200 yen, a screw costs 70 yen.

Irako usually spakles 3 ships, which is at minimum, equivalent to 3 1-1 runs without the BS scratch damages. With Mamiya, Irako sparkles all ships in the fleet.

A single screw at most adds 1 firepower (or 2 for large bore guns), going from +0 to +1 on cheap items. Usually, you need 2 to go to +1 (3-gou) or 3, IIRC, for 38 cm kai. That is, you need 2 of these fucking mochi to get a 3-gou to +1 star.

To get to +4 on a 3-gou for +2 damage, you need 8 fucking mochi.

I don't even know why we're discussing this.

Swapped radars for fighters to make up for the loss of Amagi. 2nd sortie resulted in Shouhou taiha @ 2nd node.

Got to the boss on 3rd try, but with the flag Ta taking 2 of the girls out of commision before second round of shelling, and most of the girls missing despite stacking at least 7 acc., it ended in C rank. Consumption is very low at 141/147 + 135 baux.

In conclusion, CVLs alone seem too soft.

Looks like someone never faced a DD late model, let alone with the combined fleet.
Bisko and Kirishima can fail and barely make scratch damage because of the accuracy penalty if you didn't put the appropriate cannons.

Actually, nips have make sure that CL with 20.3cm has the same total of bonus accuracy. Note that all setup involve accuracy +4, so cannons type has an impact on the accuracy.

Also, devs did say that CL "cannot use 20.3cm" to their full potential, which is concistent with the lack of bonus accuracy.

There is a difference between gaining bonus accuracy, suffering a penalty to accuracy and normal accuracy. Get the terminology right or risk confusing everyone. CLs do not suffer a penalty when using 20.3cm. They merely do not gain the accuracy bonus that CAs do during night battles.

Also the kongous suffer such a minor penalty to accuracy when equipped with the 46cms (around 2% IIRC) that it's not worth fussing over. However evidence from the field does suggest that it becomes very much more pronounced during events with combined fleet mechanics so adjust accordingly. During normal gameplay it's perfectly fine or even recommended to give the kongous 46cms for the huge boost to firepower they gain from them/

This pic is testing about the patch devs mentioned about CA+20.3 main gun variants have a bonus on the NIGHT BATTLE, which was implemented before 2013 autumn event.
So they tested about 20.3 + 2x 15.2 vs 15.5 + 2x 12.5 green, both setups have same accuracy.
Stage is 5-3-c night battle.

結論
20.3連装砲は夜戦において重巡の命中を上昇させる効果がある。
しかし軽巡に装備させてもこの効果は発動しない。
3号砲も同様であると予想できる。
複数装備した場合に効果が上がるかは不明。

15.5三連装砲は軽巡に対して夜戦の命中上昇効果はない。

Conclusion

Hatsushimo has a quite a few reasons that, if not for her unreliable artist, fast-tracked her to kai-2. She was in the final iteration of the famous second torpedo squadron who were assigned to escort Yamato in her final mission. The very squadron that Jintsuu once lead and had several game tracks made about them. She herself survived Ten-go alongside Yukikaze. When she was critically damaged from a mine, she got beached instead of sank, with most of her crew surviving.

As with Yuudachi, she feels more complete with a new remodel that better reflects her later historical achievements and upgrades. I see nothing wrong with giving less complete, less popular characters a remodel, especially ones that participated in significant events.
