I fucking hate meta threads, but this shit is getting so bad lately that I gotta ask.

Do you think reaction images, greentext, uncalled-for catchphrases and off-topic crossboarder stuff should be a bannable or at least reportable offense? Like, putting it in the rules.

How would you feel about enabling poster IDs?

I'm not looking to start a shitstorm about "what went wrong with /jp/", a short 'yes' or 'fuck you reported' reply will do.

I think its funny that the quality of /jp/ had a large noticable drop when shit like "kankore/dmm general" and all the other various generals started popping up. Sure, the quality wasn't super high before, but that is when the reaction images and greentext really took off. Just sending those shitty threads over to /vg/ might reduce it but I think the damage is already done.
