People really have to just accept that the majority of people attracted to his universe are drawn by Fate and then branch out to other parts.

I just feel that "restarting" Tsukihime universe means that old Tsukihime, along with KT, MB series and its side materials will become irrelevant and no longer part of TM. Same goes with tons of fanworks including Carnival Phantasm and Battle Moon Wars. I'm not sure I can cope with that after being attached to the characters and lore for years and the fact that he just dumped years-worth of works.

Besides, there's no guarantee that the new universe will be exactly the same as the old. What if we won't get Len, or White Len, or Roastbeef, or Uncle Wally, or even Sion or Roa? Though, I imagine he'd manage to get around that somehow.

Theres no way to get rid of Roa though. Its the reason Shiki meets Arcueid. Without Roa theres no Ciel either and he's also tied into nero's backstory. You'd have to rewrite the whole game.

I wouldn't concern myself with what's canon vs. not canon in universe continuity. Just enjoy each work for what it is, accepting that they were self-contained works written at different times.
