The first doujin isn't much for 'random fighting'. There's actually something behind the story on that one.

Though the beginning seems kind of tacked.

Chado has reasons for stuff happening too, but they're just as flimsy as the one used in Sakura Kotoba. The focus is plainly on the fighting and not the story.

The first picture is misleading. It takes place when Yuyuko finds out she's the buried body, and completely flips out. Yukari says that Youmu has to kill Yuyuko to save her.

The second one is just some sort of Eirin knew Sakuya in the past sort of thing, and Sakuya fights to the death for Remilia.

I saw this, it said, "A collaboration with Aki Eda and Maruchira"

It was surprisingly decent. Managed to have a relationship between Alice and Marisa what was fairly believable, and managed to acknowledge the friendship between Marisa and Reimu without getting into the "OH REIMU LET ME TASTE YOUR SALIVA" territory. You could take it to be "oh lol they're lesbians" but it can definitely pass off as a "oh lol they're good buddies and rivals" was well.

I was surprised this came out of a collaboration that had Aki Eda involved.

Then I turned another page past what I thought were the last pages and saw Aki Eda's art. Any hopes I had for Aki Eda breaking out of any lesbian relationship cliches were crushed very quickly.
