Get these cards. Bare minimum, at least I can't think of anything more bare minimum than this.

1 SR team buffer
1 HSR self buffer
2 HSR turn skippers
1 HSR AOE or critter

This event has your turn skipper (Claudius) and your critter (Red String). If you grind Ultimate Alliance battle you can get your AOE (Little Vampire).

With more team buffers you'll kill faster. With no team buffer it's up to luck. FAWs are bitches.

Ok so I can finally kill AWs in one BP which is really nice. Still a terrible FAW team though. Which cards are worth maxing for a FAW team? Also should I switch any cards? This set up has worked the most for me so far. Not pictured: HSR Harihara, SR White Christmas, SR Hestia, SR Headmaster, SR Slime Queen, SR Amphis, SR Brain Crusher, SR White Tiger, and SR Mnemosyne

Nah, you're probably fine. Turn skipper helps with killing a FAW's henchmen but if you run a 3rd turn skipper you're probably fine.

Max either HSR crit or self-buffer. If you want to consistently kill FAW you'll need AoE buffers and turnskippers. Asherah and Schatach drop from AW chests, so good luck.

Don't use healers if you can help it. Turnskippers give you a lot more turns against FAWs.

I was initially planning to max some HSR Snowman MKII but I'm not sure it's still useful. Omoikane is going to leave my team as soon as my 2nd Huang Luong awakens, so maybe I should increase Sulis' defense.

How the fuck do I answer directly to someone? I normally just read along.

Anyway as I said the hearts will fill up randomly. I beat Chocolatiers 105 times and the rate is still at 4,75. I beat red string 60 times and her heart rate is at 1,25. In the last event i beat Cocina 170 times and her heart rate was at 2-3. I would say normally it takes for an aw 60-80 fights and for a faw 120-140, but you can be extremly unlucky

9-12 turns most times, with taping servants, for 6,5m overhits.

I would love to switch one HL or sullis for HUR AOEr but best I have is Arian.

Still works better than with two HUR williams. Thanks to HL buffs I can survive long enough to get 3 buffs (or 2 with awoken burst) and tap away. Looks slow on paper but has high win rate and does 36k points overhits, which are very important for me this ranking.

I'd definitely put in the Turn skipper, Lilim and Chocolatier. The other two can be anything I suppose.

Personally I'm partial to self-buffers because HSR Matador is the very first card that I maxed and she's helped me a lot, but I've heard people say that Crit is better.

GUR Huang Long is probably the best team buffer, even among the premium-only URs. And she's gorgeous to boot.

But if you only have enough materials for 1 UR and you like them, I'd say keep them.

I find them more useful. I can't kill FAWs without spending a bunch of BP but here's my 1 BP kill AW team:

HSR self buff
SR team buff

I get more consistent kills using 2 turn skippers instead of one and a healer.
Might replace someone with chocolatier

I've been playing since Christmas Eve and I can FAWK. Arguably I got lucky with one of the premium summon tickets and got a Calligrapher after I got 2 HUR Huang Longs. I also acquired a White Christmas.

But killing FAWs is absolutely no problem (although sometimes I do get very unlucky with multiple FAW buff cancels). What do I do now thouhg? It feels like I'll just grind for awakenings. I've failed a Huang Long GUR awakening 3-4 times now. Not that it would really make much of a difference.

I tried ranking at the start of this event. The Valentine card seemed really good, but then Nubee changed it from 350% to 250%. Not to mention that to get a HUR you would need to be top300. Top300 requires ~2.5M points per day. While this is somewhat doable (maybe with a few mtx here and there if I'd really want to go for it over the whole duration of the event) I find that the amount of time it takes to do so many fights is annoying. I would have to constantly do FAWs that are shared and it just gets annoying.

I get all my cards to fall in love with me. Yes ALL MY CARDS. I have a FAW team, a leveling team, and a campaign team.

My FAW team is just that. My leveling team is where I have 1 GSR Critter (Celestial Hades) and 1 SR team buffer (Polaris ATM) and 3 cards I'm trying to level whether they be even Rs to HRs, event SRs to HSRs, or even 16 card evolve N cards (I'm working on Mechanic at the moment) for shits and giggles.

My 3rd team is cards that I've leveled to full and just need their hearts cleared. I use them to kill mooks in the campaign map and campaign bosses.

Usually a card will get to 15-20 hearts leveling them unless I use slimes which takes about 3-4 days each card then a week or so spent in team 3 to finish off their friendship event.

Cute cards I keep. Other cards I medal. All 10 pages of collections are full, about 80 cards in my inventory are all in love with me besides the countless numbers I've medaled to make room for more.

I take screenshots of every friendship event and have them stored. I would like to compile them into a few images I can share for the sheer audacity of doing so.

Find something you like about the game to keep your interest or I'm afraid you'll drop the game. My reason to play is I refuse to look at any card's quotes online nor do I look at any card's HR or HSR or HUR art online until I own that card (or have no hope of ever getting it). It's my reason to play.

2 self-buffers has (a small amount of) anti-synergy, since you can't tap with two cards on the same turn. I believe people also don't run self-buffers with Lilim for the same reason.

I got my first ever SR drop at 54 kills. It was Amaterasu. Then Metatron dropped like twice in 263 kills for me. It's totally random, but I guess the average would be around 1 drop every 100 kills.

GUR drop vs GUR perfect amalga is only 508 SC higher..

Which area should I grind? Im trying to grind for FAWs to get the meter up but I also need to fill red strings heart meter. I barely get any FAW with red string and she eats up all of my vitality fast. With Claudius I get way more AWs for my vitality in 1-1 and a FAW after almost every witch.. You have to be wise about spending jewels on summons. The flip summon is half decent, the one that is running right now is utter shit. The new years summon was AMAZING. But it's really hard to know in advance. I spend 20k+ jewels on the new years summon, but I got 2 HURs and 3 URs on it. Along with a bunch of SRs of course.

From what I've seen people post on the wiki. Dropped GUR will have 21065 soldiers, perfect alma will have 21573, and mixed should be somewhere in between.

well, yes and no. The HSRs will give her higher stats but you may not care.

For example GUR Huang Long has about 24,000 Soldiers when she's fully amalgamated and about 23,300 when she's from drops.

The extra 700 soldiers do matter but not much.

If you have a choice go for fully Amalgamated, if you have a chance for 2 GURs and one is from drops? Get both.

My complaint is she loses some of her hair length evolved which is why I prefer Celestial/Infernal Hades.

So what card are you intending to Awaken and how is the team you propose to use her in is probably an important question to ask. You may just need to save your stones for something you'll get in the future.

Huang Long and Chocolater are most important ones, HL especialy since GUR one is just amazing.
Rest .. Santa Oracle is healer/rezer with 1 proc, Cocina is 3 proc healer.. only if you have spare stones. Catcine is very specific defense card..

As for GSR the all Criters and Buffers are worth stones. Queen Succubus is nice turn skipper and AOE cards... if you don`t have 30% aoers and want some better proc rate.

I`ve remade my team from scratch.
Went from 2x HUR William, 2x GUR Huang Long and HSR Sulis to
2x GUR HL 1x GUR Choco, HUR Wolfwoman and HSR Sullis

I kill more consistently and with higher overhit since crits love to land in wrong place. Been quite easy to get 6,5m kills for 36k points on FAWs. Gets to 999k taps quite fast and Choco saves from FAW Field. Made like 20m+ rank points with this team, and ranked in top 50 this event. Overall looking at old crit setup the "ultimate tap works" makes more points per bp spent due to high win rate and over-hits.

To be honest it made ranking more bearable.
With old free FAW system you had to sit whole day and get sends. 11m during hallowing to rank, now you need like 3-4m daily to get into top 300. Killed importance of faw trader alliances, or having 100+ senders..

Witch gates are vit sink for people with maxed MS since they always had abundant vit. Without spending shoes you can easy do 2-3 gates per day. Drops.. not bad but you will usually lack L stones compared to everything else. You can just farm with extra vit after completing map.

As for Awakening rates, 40% for GSR and 20% for GUR. Stat cap increase to 24999 for GSR and 39999 for GUR, also they get Awoken Burst that activates around 5-10% chance that increases their SC and damage greatly for 3 turn and works like free heal.

Last but not least GSR/GUR get improved skills. Like 20% HSR AOErs get 25% chance, some old criters like Balam get 2 procs instead of one and 25% chance. Ensemble becomes 250% buffer with 20% proc chance.

Since like Christmas every event has HUR card that can be obtained by free player (FAW or Amalga like Catcine) and so far there were two exceptional cards "given out' to free players. Huang Long, which many consider best buffer in game even toping 400/450% premium buffers and current FAW that when awoken works like Sif which was box summon. All "free" HURs also could be awkoen so they make sure free players have some stone sink.

It all factors time.
Like Caracal costed me about 15 silver swords since no one wanted to rank.
This event I`ve burned about 70 silvers swords but went for top 50 to get 3 PS at mid ranking and now i`m slacking.

To rank without spending cash you need
- FAW team with at least 85% ratio and decent overhit potential, better overhit and win rate results in less swords burned per event
- Good ally and senders, since you want to kill FAWs only, caracal event I finished maxing hearts on my own FAW/AW like 3-4 days event end.
- Dont bother with trading
- Now last one depends about RR but if trend for top 300 is like 3-4m daily you can look at burning 30-40 swords per ranking.
- 3x Ydgradlis, MS lv 10 at least 18 BP in total so silver swords give 9.
- Dont forget about daily tweet BP refill, it makes nice chunk of rank points.

You can rank without spending a dime, like me if you sink enough time and have some silver swords saved.

Now rankings become quite "easy" since daily increase for top 300 hovers around 3-4m, that`s over 100 FAWs per day. They been pumping 250% buffers for past 5 RRs and most of top dogs got/is busy getting GUR Huang Long that is superior to any 250% RR buffer and this quite opened 150-300 bracket for new players.

Also most important is first 1,5 day rush, where you should get as much points as possible and they just keep your ranking. Avoid being in low 200`s at end of event like 270-299 is danger zone since people often do last day rushes. Keep in high 200 and you will be fine.

Her likeability has been stuck between 3 1/2 to 4 hearts for the past 15-20 kills. I've been through witch gates, poked AWs and FAWs, done all kinds of shit. Not a single drop. Nothing. On the other hand, game likes to play with my feelings by showing me rare chests only to reveal traps or arcana. On that note I've acquired 4 light swords, 9 traps and 50~ish arcana this event. I'd build your team around William and Ensemble. Right now AOE is better than crit in my opinion because it saves time dealing wtih FAW servants. Other people will probably disagree. GSRs like Zenobia or Rokumonsen (who're regular archwitch rewards and not event only cards) or UR AOEs would be best.

So for now, I would say William, Ensemble, Alnair, Qilin, and either Urcaguary EX or Uriel. Urcaguary EX proc is random but she has 2, Uriel is battle start. Up to you. You should have 40-60% success against FAWs with that team I'm guessing.

I would say Cerberus is good if you have another team buffer but with just Ensemble I would still go with William and Qilin until you get an AOE GSR or higher. Max William will have 29,000 attack, Cerberus just can't compete. You could trade out Qilin for Cerberus though if you've already maxed her attack.

I hope I can stay top 3000 without using swords. This is the first event where I can manage to get HSR/HUR of everything because I got my first team buffer from an archwitch drop. That buffer has drastically improved everything it feels soooo good to kill AWs by myself and get up to 2mill damage on FAWs.

If you have time and decent alliance you can get HUR for like 3000-5000 gems in rods. Then again current UAB RR is just pitiful...

Also I would recommend getting MS 10/Castle 10/Yddgx3 instead blowing money on summons. Gem building are 100% and no luck/RNG involved and will give you boost forever.

Yeah they brought back Fenrir so it can happen, especially since Puppeteer got GUR. Well and that special sumon is quite money sink considering how many UR getting Jewel or Pillow will be hard.

But they might redo box sumon with those but again .. box sumon is such expensive way to get HUR.

You will be amazed how many crap def teams you can find in UAB. Now is 5 allies so quite often one has crap defense and easy point farm.

Put as much AOE maidens as you can and try to get some points.

Also SC dont drop in UAB.

You don't lose soldiers in AUB. You get 100 points even if you lose, I guess, and there's the psychological factor of the other team seeing your team have a lot of people on, and you might help the combo meter?

Also, there's usually one alliance that you can win against without even fighting, since three alliance members' cards assist at the start of each battle.
