Hey /jp recommend me a Visual Novel, preferably one i can burn a chunk of time on.

I've read:

Tsukihime + KT
what's done of F/SN
Ever 17
Planetarian
Phantom of Inferno

Clannad is certainly good for burning time, as it is long as hell.

Clannad
True Remembrance

I've kinda shied away from Clannad because I thought it was just generic slice of life high school drama. To be honest though, I never did really any extensive research, and I've heard it to be really good.

Would you recommend it still?

Yume Miru Kusuri was pretty good.

It's slice of life, but it's incredibly good and doesn't seem to drag on or get dry even being so long. It starts in high school, but extends like ~8ish years or so past it. It's Key, so it also has some quasi-fantasy plot devices thrown in.

I'd recommend it, personally.
