Kujiragami no Tearstilla's installer is gonna have one of those minigames again. The one in G.I.B. was also pretty fun, a Space Invaders clone. At least Whirlpool's system dev team has a nice sense for their applications, as programmers lately.

The thread title that's worked for years doesn't need to be changed just because there were shitposts in the last one. It's fine to not forbid discussion of any VN that happens to have a translation, because old VNs everyone has played should not generate much discussion, so posts about them don't impact discussion of newer VNs. If there's a lot of discussion about them at a given time, it's only because school is on break or someone is samefagging.

I've never considered tablets since I play eroge on my bed and on the road on my full-autism weeb custom cover laptop, but at retail price, $800 for a 64GB i3, Intel 4k machine is kind of too pricey just for eroge in my opinion. Integrated Intel 4k graphic chips usually run everything nicely on my machine, I can test something if you'd like, and an i3 should be able to handle most recent eroge, even gameplay-centric games or E-mote.

I just use one of those cooling pads for my laptop on my bed, and sometimes hook up a DualShock 3 via bluetooth if I'm feeling exceptionally lazy to click or adjust autoplay options.

I usually use a regular laptop too, but these things are hell in summer and I end up giving up playing in bed. A tablet wouldn't be nearly as bad, and I have a thing for super high dpi screens. I just got a new job, so I thought I'd splurge on a new toy.

I guess my only concern is games like baldr sky zero, where heavy unoptimized 3d is prominent, but those aren't common.

There's the third and final Leyline game.

I'm taking this month to play a few older games. In the game I'm currently playing, a side character who I thought got killed off in the last game is actually alive and a main heroine. It's nice to play without reading any info ahead of time and get surprised.

I just watched the presentation movie for Sumire. I think it's going to be really good.

Main character who is 20+ hangs out with his online friends. He thinks they are men with voice changers, but they are actually high school girls. I guess later they will meet up "IRL" and fall in love. I can't wait.

My favorites are probably Jackson and Mareni, for different reasons. Sakurai is also right up there, although I find she gets a bit tiring after a while so I wouldn't want to marathon her works. Also, though I wouldn't say his technical skill is as high as the others I've mentioned, I have a lot of fun reading Sca-ji's text just because it has so much personality and generally contains a lot of interesting stuff.

I haven't really been playing anything since the year started, but I decided on a whim to give Sinclient a try yesterday. For whatever reason, I was under the impression that it was completely terrible, but it's turning out to be kind of enjoyable. The plot has been pretty silly so far and the text has been pretty uneven, but it feels like the kind of game you can easily have fun with if you don't think about what's going on and just roll with it. Of course, I expect that it'll get too silly and stop being fun at some point, so I don't think I'll finish it.

Finished Fate/Hollow Ataraxia true ending one day before yesterday. Most of the time it was quite boring, but in the end everything kind of started to make sense and it was quite nice. Not sure will it be worth to aim for the 100 % clear tho.

Accel world visual novel was soo good and well written. Too bad they had to ruin with that shitty game play elements. I would not have mind if it were fun or at least easy, but they just had to make it hard as hell and unintuitive. Finished leyline 3, enjoyed it a lot and it was a great way to wrap the series, especially since it was plot plot plot and had no side routes, just Mooko being adorable. Less twists than in the second one but it was to be expected.
Explains some of the loose ends from the other two games like how there were no records or recollections of the deaths of the night students in a quite satisfying way and generally I liked the end a lot.
The SSS prize CG has to be the best yet too, just adorable coupled with her after stories.

I'm not really sure about this VN, but generally speaking for games, C:\Users\*YourAccountName*\Saved Games is one possibility that comes to mind. Also C:\ProgramData is another. Or the game's own folder. Some VNs even allow you to set up the save file folder when you're installing them or give you an "open save folder" shortcut for Start Menu.

The game is still 1280x720 regardless, so a bigger monitor will result in a bigger text size when the game is set to fullscreen.

If you're playing in windowed mode on a high PPI monitor... well, you have only yourself to blame. The text is perfectly readable at normal pixel densities in windowed mode.

Not really. I'm comfortable with most anything. Often they'll bore or annoy me, but never cause discomfort.

Then again, it's important to note that my house and room room are sealed and locked off from everywhere else, as soundproofed as sensibly possible, and I use isolating headphones.
The value of having a relaxing safe haven for media consumption makes discomfort quite difficult.
