Yuugi is always drinking to escape her loneliness and sadness. When she's sober, she constantly doubts herself and thinks she's so uninteresting and mannish looking that people will leave her. She's so afraid of being rejected that when the oni decided to leave the surface, she did so even though she knew no one would care either way. What she considers her guardian angel is alcohol. She considers it a blessing that she's a happy drunk. When drunk, she becomes the person who she always wanted to be. A straight-forward and friendly oni and she feels happy. She's scared of becoming that confused and meek oni so much that she drinks every moment she's awake. She freaks out every morning after she wakes up and frantically searches for booze. She's terrified of someone finding out her problem and rejecting her. Her love life is non-existent because everyone can immediately tell there's something wrong with how much and constantly she's drinking and while she's fun to be around when she's drunk, they don't want that much baggage or stick their dick in crazy. She has no real friends. She has many people that know her name and a few acquaintances but there's always a wall around her that she dares not let anyone cross. The closest to a friend she has is Suika but she not sure where that stands since Suika left.

Maybe one day, this oni will finally get her wish and change herself. Maybe one day, someone will cross that line and everything will be okay still. Maybe one day, she'll wake up and things would be okay. For now though, she'll drink, keep her wall up, wake up scared, and wonder if that one day will ever come
