The problem is that Danbooru's bandwidth costs a TON, and advertisers don't want to be a part of it if their ads are shown on the same page as loli.

Judging from the page source danbooru admins suck at security, the urls/tags/etc are (nearly) in plain sight. Saved 8900 images only to realize most are duplicated at gelbooru.
