What is this 7 for 8 now? I'm going to have to quit soon just on principle. I've played for over a year, I've put money into this game. This is not the way to treat your loyal fan base.

Each attempt takes days to grind. What in fucking hell were they thinking?

Drop rate tends to be lower on UR. And when the drop rate is lower, there are many people with bad luck can't get their cards (at least in form of HUR).

Hey guys, super new player here. All I managed to get last event is one HSR Enyo (I think I should not have evolved? Too late now :<).

What's the best way to grind xmas cards? I really want 2x maidryll! Any way of ensuring I get a second (or more) dark santas?

Another question! How is a debuffer team supposed to win against that 3-turn-kill skill? I really don't see that working at all.

If you really want to grind Xmas Cards, keep repeating area 1 for AWs and FAWs. They sometimes drop 1, 5, or 10 Xmas Cards instead of their regular drops. This is probably also the best way to try and get more Dark Santa cards, since they're either a drop, or an Xmas Card exchange reward.

Use alt to search. It works if they are searchable. Some alliances are free to join.

If you have no mean to communicate with them, you can only leave your current alliance and apply.

It really depends on how leader does. In my case, the chance is that I would free a spot and accept. But I might kick that player later if he doesn't talk, doesn't logon, or doesn't participate any alliance activity.

I assume that ranking alliances won't take random player easily.

Play a lot and you will get a dark santas for sure. It's a matter of time. If you play enough, you can even get enough xmas cards for maidryll.

If you are lucky, maybe you can get a buffer too! Who know?

Turn skippers like Enyo can make enemies less dangerous, the boss becomes very easy when you have like 3-4 skippers. Don't worry, I have seen like 6 or more turn skippers release this year. It's a very common drop in AWs.

I just expanded my inventory enough to hold more cards, letting me carry half-evolved 4* R cards until they reached HR without being a burden.

As for the cute R cards, I only keep them if they are my favorite card, or 16-card evolutions. The rest can be viewed in the collection page later.

A bit of both, however I already used all of the jewels necessary for kingdom upgrades. Before you get those out of the way you really don't have a choice sometimes.

Don't bother with clearing the original campaign map until we get those events that cut vitality consumption in half. It gets much easier and is usually encouraged by some limited enemy or returning archwitch appearing in the campaign maps.

I usually just feed 1 slime per HSR and use them to fight the mobs and low level AWs. By the time I get their level to the cap, their friendship pts also max out as well. Efficiency to the max.

The RNG for witch gate seems really streaky/messed up (as usual), but it's a lot more noticeable when each step costs 7 vit. I could either run through all 250 of my vitality without encountering a single witch, or I can get a witch every step I take.

You can use it to your advantage, but honestly it's a bothersome "mechanic" to have to wait and time everything out to when you are on a streak. You can't just spend all your vit when it's convenient.

It seems like waiting a bit or just doing random stuff in game like killing a FAW will alter your luck. Because of this, I'm always scared to kill FAWs when I'm having good witch gate luck, because it always seems to sentence me to suddenly wasting tons of vit.

Frosty could easily cost a lot of vit to get. Depends on if she's a limited enemy or an AW and how much vit per step.

There's also Maidryl who is an older returning card up for Christmas cards. I'm glad she is available, but the prices for redeeming Christmas cards should have been reduced, since Nubee took away 0 bp FAWs. I mean, obviously the cards are going to be way harder to farm now, but the prices to redeem are the same or harder to get.

The difference between this and Halloween cookies is just funny. I'm spending at least 5 times the resources that were needed and struggling to even collect the girls that are up for grabs, unlike before where I had enough extra cookies to scoop up 5+ ultimate summon tickets along the way just as bonus.

You can pile them up. Walk through an area until you encounter one then leave. Don't let her go, just exit out of the fight. Go to the next area and walk until you encounter one then leave. So on and so forth until you have one in each area.

Then it's just 1 step to each encounter, your chance of dropping her card will increase. This effectively doubles the amount of vitality you have to spend but can be worth it because of the increased chance to drop her card.

1 Frosty. Had a +5.00% bonus for so long that my archwitch encounter expired.

No resources left to reasonably hunt again, and not even a single amalgamated Santa Oracle to show for it. I want to cry.

To be honest even if you manage to awaken (just failed my 1st) then its not such huge diff. And with just 1 proc I can see her being useful only in two situations.
One for doing witch gates, where you want to secure yourself from wipes and don`t need to over-hit.
Second in def teams, 20k SC 39999 def rezer/healer will be annoying as hell.

She has no place in ranking FAWK unit. Tho for a "free" HUR she is OK.

1. Put AW on hold.
2. Get +5% drop chance.
3. Keep it up while haming LEs.

The 2. takes some time need some LE kills, its better to do it in one siting.

That is in theory, my luck with LEs is horrible so given up on them long time ago.

Relaxing? I found VC to be one of the most relaxing games on smartphone, actually. Most of the other Japanese 'card' games I found follow two distinct formats:

1. All the cards have skills AND leader skills, which makes the team building damn strategic. Also the game itself would be just going into dungeons and playing some shit mini-games (I've seen them ranging from Bejeweled and Puzzle Bobble to Tap Tap and fucking Mahjong) and after a while it gets boring as hell.

2. There would be separate energies for campaign and boss/pvp fights (like VC), but the total energy used for the boss fight will be determined by your unit cost. So you'll be either using the cheapest cards possible and hoping that one of your friends will finish the job for you, or you'll keep using up the equivalent of swords (which don't come cheap).

Both of them are FUCKING frustrating to play, you have to think about the costs and evaluate strengths and skills of EVERY card you get. And the worst thing? Unlike VC, the only way of leveling the cards is through Upgrades - doing campaign and fighting bosses don't do shit. So you'll be constantly farming for the equivalent of slimes just to level cards so that you can SURVIVE the higher level dungeons or kill stronger bosses unless I've been playing them all wrong.

At least with VC there is not much need to keep swapping around cards to save up cost or utilize the best leader skills for each different dungeons and whatnot.

Pretty sure I have like 15 light shoes in my presents from a 0 bp FAW Eldritch key event. They're buried under so many medals though, I'll have to waste them and the time it takes to upgrade to reach those shoes. Good thing though, because I have 3 red and 7 blue shoes left. Depends how good your AW/FAWK deck is.

She is better than 30% self buffers in lockdown decks (1 attack card and 4 time skippers).

max skill n when atk 5 times is 537.824% atk boost. So instead of waiting for 300% self buffer to proc you just use time skipers and start haming the AW or FAW. While such deck is not good for ranking due to low over-hit potential its good for newbies since you only need to max att of one card (dark santa) and time skippers are often released as AWs.

If you are just starting.. this would be good deck to get 1BP AW kills and farm cards.

Not just with that, but with AUB, with the new FAW that cost BP, with the 10/15x damage cards that give extra points. Game just gets more and more p2w and it's disgusting.
And yeah, Witch Gate is entirely optional but so is everything in the game because you can play however the hell you want. The thing is, if you want to get something out of it, you will have to invest in quite a lot. And coupled with the low success rate, this is complete bullshit.

There is one thing I hate the most about the matching system. It selects your opponents based on the average points they do.
So, you get to fight teams that don't participate the first two rounds and kill you the next two.
Worse, if you also get a team pretty active in your first two rounds.

If your alliance is just average, you will never win against them and you will end up losing a lot of points.

- Now money can solve some matters. Also mean we may get fucked because someone else p2w.
- Ranking becomes accessible, or no longer important
- Ranking alliances get less advantages
- Awaken/witch gate can be a waste of time and 'resources'
- Fewer trading activities. Good for your fingers but server is less lively.

I guess this is some way to counter 1 person rodding hard, but it makes it better if 2 people rod hard. The winning streak seems fairly obvious to me, the more wins you get the more points you get, don't know the exact numbers though. Other sumons will be COMPLETLY luck based, and box summons are 400-600$ for one HUR card + 2x HSR event kiler + some SRs...

To be honest ranked since Wolfu event, and now with no free FAW its all about senders (so helps new player) and no trading. Ranking is also less consuming compared to free faw+trading. During wolfu event was doing 9-11m per day, now about 4-5.

Only downside I see, you cant rank every event. On the other side it creates more playing field since when some people will be farming swords others will just take their spot so in long run this new ranking format should let more people get RRs. Just need to pick element and rank for useful cards.

I was considering going light, but the lack of light AoE skill in HUR form is going to hurt. I only have UR Harmonia and no Saffron. I'll likely go passion as well.

I've got level 200 Azure Dragons and Vermilion Bird AWs. We save vit if we trade these too. Also, if you need these AWs killed, please add. Anyone want to trade? ID: 5olsi IGN:Delmesh

Also just reached the final areas and of course the vit required is 7+ for each step. It's basically how "Our Ladies of Solace" was, plus you need to spend bp for it along with the vit cost.

Looks like some people already HUR'd the FAW too.

I have a feeling getting people to trade AWs might be difficult just based on how boring of a concept that is. I suppose regular senders will pick up once the event gets going in motion, at least. For people who want to get Huang Long amalgamated earlier, it may cost a lot of shoes. Little senders might not even bother with the later AWs, though.

Started playing halfway through the Hades event how is this for a AW team? I don't have many good cards.. Trying to raise my unit cost so I can fit santa oracle in or swap her for headmaster. Right now If I'm lucky I can kill level 200 AWs with one BP but it usually takes two. Not very good against FAWs

It is less effective now that it doesn't get you up to five free FAWs, but it can still give you up to 5 times your value pretty much. More than that, with your alliance coming into play, actually. If you send a full health FAW and get a few back, you didn't have to spend the 7-14 vit to find one on your own. On event's where you have to kill AWs to get the FAW, it saves you the extra BP you're spending on little AWs with low points, and get to conserve your BP for the FAWs which offer three times more points and better drops.

It's just way more value for your "resources" if you can build good comrades. Sometimes that's hard without ranking first. And once you have a lot of great comrades, people may wonder why you don't send more to them, but consider a person in that situation has way more people to thin their points out across that need thanking. This is dangerous information, handle delicately.

Then when I have more than 5 people who recently logged in I just send to the people I know usually pokes. This way, I guess I wont make that many friends, but some of my comrades are almost 100% sure to receive FAWs if I find them and they are online. It works fine for me, I get a decent amount sent back and there was a guy from some nip alliance that got some of his alliance mates to add me aswell, because I sent a lot to him.

My alliance FAWs I wait until a couple of people are in before I enter, as to not snipe or waste time in the FAW. Everything else is usually safe to assume gets killed pretty quickly, but /jp/s have priority to stay alive a little longer, usually. Generally, trading is to a way to get you more FAW. What I do is:

- It doesn't matter whether you can kill FAW or not, just send the full/high health FAW for players who will likely to send FAW back (now or later). Full health because the archwitches last longer.
- If people don't defeat the FAW, you may need to do that yourself.
- When someone send you the fantasy archwitches, make sure that it got killed. Not too fast or else the comrades won't get to touch it.
- You may need to decide who you should send. Personally I prefer players with moderated killing speed.

Are most popular. I run picture related now. When I`m ranking I just tap debuffing minion and unload crits. When I`m in lazy mode just two taps on minions and crit the FAW.

Lilim plus 200% buff on a max attack HSR is still 600k-800k damage per tap and makes for really fast kills. Killing a servant with 800k damage means you get more points. Lilim is still relevant, though not as OP as she once was compared to other cards.

It can work, but to get huge tap bonus for killing servants.

But 400% HUR max att aoer + two buffs = 900% damage = 999k aoe
With Sulis its easy to get 3x200% and that on hurs gets you 999k taps. And with advent of GUR 450% elemental buffers.. you need two for 999k. And now you can GSR ensemble for 250% buff.. and I bet other SR buffers will follow.

Overall now its full glass canon, and for ranking 2 AOE / 2 Crits + 3 buffs or 1 AOE+ 1 Crit + 3 buffs.

Problem with SRs is their low SC, and that they WILL die in witch AOE. Now with FAWs costing BPs when you rank you want high overkill and high win ratio. Seen some decks using in 5th slot Sif or Saber to protect from AOE. Sif is generally amazing with.

As for event
Tiger - two drops, not maxed hearts
Vermilion - drop + hearts
Dragon - drop+hearts
Tortoise.. GOD DAMN TSUNDERE almost maxed hearts and still no drop and been lv 200 for long..
