Placing a incline on the floor of the house so that if they sleep too soundly[?] they will roll out is good
There are more designs and schemes possible so search around for them

Feeding Tools

I'd prefer "Like flying in the sky!" as you can use it in multiple contexts without change. That is also the most literal translation.

"can't kill" would be "korosenai"
The latter is what's written there, and while it's possible she means she's going to torture it instead of kill it, that's reading into it more than what's presented. In both languages "can't kill" can be interpreted as meaning "physically impossible" or "lacking the will to", so I think we should go with that.

Do you know if what alice says is different from the normal phrase and thus should have the pronoun omitted, or should the pronoun be added because it's the same as all other instances, and not including the pronoun would go against the standard?

Sadly I don't have the raw of that page, so unless you know for sure it'll probably be hard to check.

I can't remember which of the stories I've read have summaries, but there are many instances of it. The Remirya that ended up working in a restaurant, making its kids into meat buns, did so because it was only cutting off their limbs, and they wouldn't die. Also, it got pregnant by being raped by Alices, and it still loved them. One other story has a mother trying to kill a newborn because the food they had gathered for the winter wasn't enough for both of them, but it loved it too much, so they tried to survive the winter together and failed.

The reason they eat their children is usually either loss of sanity due to hunger, or anger at their children trying to eat them.

I had misread that earlier, I thought it was killing the children to cook them. However, I wouldn't exactly call that an act of love regardless of it living or dying.

Let me try to clarify what I am talking about as well as I can.
I am accusing yukkuris of loving each other in a purely selfish way. Children love their parents because they allow them to take it easy. Parents love their children because they make the parent look good. This is far from what would consider an ideal love, where one loves another for what it is, and not what it is to the one/what it can do for the one. A form of this selfish love I was comparing a yukkuri's love to is like a child's love for a shiny toy. It will want the toy to look good, it will care for the toy, it will play with/use the toy. But it does not care for the toy for what it is, only for what it means to the child. It is replaceable. It may mean a lot more to the child than it would to any other person, but it is not priceless. This is what I believe a yukkuri's love is.
And yes, there is tons of evidence in the stories of this kind of love. Parents eating their children. Children eating their parents. Parents not continuing to love a child that lost it's accessory (although this probably isn't the best example, given how bizzare the yukkuri-accessory relationship is) and even killing the hatless child. Mothers getting confused over which child is theirs, fighting with each other and even killing them (first summary with alices as a gang rape troupe features this).

This does not sound like any kind of pure, selfless love to me. This is where I got my theory. Is it contradicted by untranslated stuff? Perhaps, but until I read those summaries I will not change it on my own. And do not say that the yukkuri simply succumb to their own desires and rape/eat their children. That is far from being selfless.

Have been discussed, pay attention. Children don't love parents that much, and no yukkuri can identify another if it's lost its accessory. That's no proof of lack of love.

I see all 3 as possible for humans. I don't see why the yukkuri should somehow be more reasonable and exclude that last option.
