So in PCB Ran uses danmaku, but in IN, IaMP and SWR (dunno if she appears in SA) she is a spinning furball of death.

So what does the damage if the tails are supposed to be fluffy?

I know Yukari shoots some lasers while Ran spins as the focused portion of the border team.

I use Marisa+Alice so I haven't seen Yukari solo and unfocused.
